  GREATNESS   Luke 1:26-37 Devotional:- “He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David” (v.32) NKJV One of the strong prophecies that was spoken about Jesus was that He would be great. I have discovered with time that lasting greatness is given by God. Therefore, it becomes unattainable only by labour but by God’s favour. You hardly see anyone who doesn’t desire to be great, but greatness is life's answer to a few people. This is not because many people don’t labour for it, but because God did not approve their greatness. I need to bring you to an understanding of how to contact true greatness. It comes through the combination of virtues called labour and favour. These two virtues come from both man and God, respectively. Man labour but God favour. Hebrews 12:1-5
Devotional Verse - “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” (V. 2)

   No one can get the best of fellowship until there is a focus. Our nature of creation cannot really connect together until there is a focus. To focus is to set your mind and heart on God. There is this saying that we only communicate when we are focused on each other. So, when we are in fellowship with God, we must focus on Him. The devil will tempt you by creating several distractions. Anytime you want to focus, something will start to cross your mind to change the course. You must overcome it.

   The Bible says, we should keep looking unto Jesus. This is telling us to focus. Fellowship time with God is not a time to attend to people. It is not a time to think about your money. It can only be good when you can focus. Any distracting thought can be noted. Also note that most of distracting thought in time of fellowship will be very important one that you didn’t remember before the fellowship time.
   This calls for discipline and wisdom. You need to make up your mind to succeed in fellowship time with God to get the best of it. Let all around you know that when you are praying, you will not answer anyone. Make it a policy. People calling you out in the service to discuss is not godly, no matter how good the point of discussion is. When flashing ideas come to distract, ask the Holy Spirit to remind you later and He will. This is how to get the best of fellowship. Peace.
PRAYER: Lord, give me victory over distracting spirit.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
