MEMBERS OF HIS BODY

MEMBERS OF HIS BODY  Ephesians 5:21-33 Devotional:- “ For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. ” (V.30) NKJV . 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional MEMBERS OF HIS BODY Support Us Pastor Remi Agbabiaka  ·  Ephesians 5:21-33 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Believers need to know that God’s word calls us members of the body of Christ. There are so many clubs in this world that men are proud to be part of. This is because being a member of such a club entitles them to some benefit. It entitles them to some privileges and earns them great respect. Membership of such a club is not picked on the floor. It takes some process and commitment to achieve it. Much more than this , God’s word says we are members of the body of Christ. When I see some believers, not mindful of thei...

TIME TO MEDITATE

Image
Scripture Reading: Genesis 24:61-67 Devotional: “And Isaac went out to meditate in the field in the evening; and he lifted his eyes and looked, and there, the camels were coming” (V. 63) Anytime we create time to be in the presence of the Lord, we should prepare at the same time to meditate. Meditation is an act of chewing the cur or ruminating over information to get the best out of it. It is an act of looking at information with an inquisitive mind. This is trying to locate the real meaning or trying to locate solution through the information.

TIME TO PRAY

Image
Scripture Reading: Mark 1:35-39 Devotional: “Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed” (V. 35) For anyone to enjoy the presence of God, we must learn to be with Him, communicating our heart to Him (1 Samuel 1:15, 1 Peter 5:7). We must learn to share with Him in prayer. Yes, we must always approach Him with praises, but we must also not hide our feelings but share them in prayers.

WORD POTENCY

Image
1 Samuel 1:8-20 Devotional Verse – (V. 18) “And she said,"Let your maidservant find favor in your sight." So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad”(V. 18) The word of God is powerful and is able to destroy any yoke of the devil. The word of God is not mere word like that of most men. They are words that can be carried out by the unseen forces and backed up by the Spirit of the Lord. The forces of the angels of God are always waiting to carry out the word of God (Psalms 103:20). The Bible says the word of God is powerful, it is sharper than a two edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). The word of God will always prosper in the mouth of a true servant of God. It will prosper wherever it is sent (Isaiah 55:11).

SPIRIT CONNECTION

Image
Scripture Reading: Job 32:1-9 Devotional Verse – “But there is a spirit within people, the breath of the Almighty within them, that makes them intelligent” (V. 8) Man in his nature can only see the physical things but perceive spiritual things. Most people have little or no understanding of the affairs of the spirit. Man needs to realize that he is not just spiritual, but he is a spirit made in likeness of God who is a Spirit (Genesis 1:20-27). It is important we know that man receives from God through his spirit (John 3:27).

WAITING ON THE LORD

Image
Scripture Reading: Isaiah 40:21-31 Devotional Verse – “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint” (V. 31) The prosperity of a child of God has so many roots in the act of waiting on the Lord. This is because the strength of man will fail at a certain point, but the strength of God cannot fail. So, allowing Him to be the source of our strength is wisdom. When you are not depending on the devil to prosper or following his dubious ways, he will look for every way to discourage you. That is why our strength should not be in ourselves but in God (1 Samuel 2:9).

PRAISES AND WORSHIP

Image
Scripture Reading: Psalms 34:1-10  Devotional: “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth” (V. 1) Time in the presence of God is always a time to worship and praise the Lord. The time spent with God is not only for us but also for God. Therefore, it is first a time to bless the Lord with our praise and worship. If the door of the throne room of God will be widely open to us, then we must know that praises and worship are the password (Psalms 100:4) The Psalmist said, “I will bless the Lord at all times and His praises shall continually be in my mouth”. Every time you want to be sure that the presence of God is with you, you must learn to praise Him. That is why you don’t have to do that once a while. It is a thing of every time.
