No one likes opposition when it comes. But I have observed that when the righteous is opposed, God will make it produce his promotion. That is why you must not continue to see the devil at work in your life, but God. That is the reason you must learn to praise Him even in your challenges, for He said all things shall work together for your good (Romans 8:28).

In the scripture we read today is the case of a great opposition that arose against Joseph right in his own house. They decided to kill him, but since God was involved, that would not work. See, God is involved in your matter also. So they at last sold him to the Ishmaelites for money. But for Joseph, God was taking him on the journey of destiny.

Whatever you may be going through, see yourself on the journey of destiny. The Bible never reports Joseph weeping or being depressed, but serving with joy (Genesis 39:2-5). Friend, what is your opposition like? See God there (Isaiah 43:2). He is with you. Your opposition may not be doing what is right, but you stand in righteousness and never compromise. Be strong in the Lord. Do not give up your hope. Whatever may be your opposition, see it as an opportunity for your promotion. Wait on God to know what you should do and obey His leading. Your case shall turn into a testimony (Luke 21:13).

Prayer: Lord, strengthen me to always overcome.

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

DOMINION

DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.
