Men of understanding know that challenges are opportunities in disguise. A challenge is what is confronting us. They are the things that want to embarrass us and prove to us that we are not able. They are situations that seem to have defied all solutions and intend to disgrace us. They are mountains that are proving stubborn and not wanting to move away in our lives, but hidden in them is our glory.

David was a young brother who was willing to serve in any capacity he was commanded. But Saul the king was looking for a way to destroy him. When the king had thought of many ways to destroy him, and he could not find any, he now asked him to bring one hundred foreskins of the Philistines, thinking that they would kill him in the course. But David took up the challenge and brought two hundred foreskins.

Are you faced with some challenge now in your life? See, you are up to it (1 Corinthians 10:13). You only need to know that opportunities are waiting for you in it. Don’t be afraid; God is with you (Isaiah 43:2, 1 John 4:4). You are already destined to win (1 John 5:4). The enemy expects you to be weeping, but you should know that the joy of the Lord is your strength.  And you shall overcome surprisingly.

Prayer: Lord, help me to be strong enough to overcome challenges.

“RISE UP TO WHAT IS FACING YOU, AND YOU WILL MOVE UP”

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.
