Battle is not a pleasant thing for anyone, but the wise know it produces victory. At one time or another, we all face one battle or another in life. The result is either a man wins or loses. Our ability to win any battle depends on our level of preparation for such battles in life.
In the scripture we read today is the event of the devil bringing a battle through a man called Haman against the Jews, especially Mordecai. Haman was a strong man in the kingdom who wanted to use his good office to destroy others. You need to know that whatever is against you is in trouble. In the end, this man was defeated, and he died. This was because he was facing a child of God.
Please understand that you are a victor. If the devil enters anyone to be used against you in life, you must know that you are up to it. Never confront anyone physically, but learn to wage war in the spirit (2 Corinthians 10:4). Do all in your strength to behave well and do all you are supposed to do as a Christian so that you don’t fight for yourself. But in your closet, pull down the forces that are against you in prayer. They shall bow to you at last. Instead of you falling, you shall learn a new lesson, be lifted, and they shall fall. (Esther 10:3, Isaiah 54:15).
Prayer: Lord, give me the courage to face the battles
against me squarely and headlong.
“YOUR BATTLES ARE FOR
YOUR LIFTING”
