Oftentimes, opportunities could come to us in the form of what to buy and sell. God may want to open you up to a new level of financial favour, but it may come as an opportunity to sell or buy something. That is why you don’t lock yourself only in an area of business. As much as you need to specialise, you must be careful not to reject God’s opportunities sent for you to sell or buy.

Joseph from childhood was never used to selling and buying. He was all the while a shepherd boy. He also enjoyed staying home to run errands. But here in the land of Egypt God hid an opportunity for him in selling and buying, and he did not miss it.

Friend, you must be careful to discern what God is sending to you. Don’t close your own door by saying you cannot do it. Those who are selling do not have two heads. God might want to train you for a big marketing field tomorrow. Be careful not to just reject the offer. Discern the will of God and tap into it. And your breakthrough shall come.

Prayer: Lord, help me not to miss my chance.

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

DOMINION

DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.
