SONGS OF LOVE

 SONGS OF LOVE

Isaiah 54:1-10
Devotional:- “"Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman," says the LORD.” (V.1) NKJV

Most people don’t appreciate the place of singing in love relationship. We often think it is the affair of children to sing to one another. But it is until you try it one day that you will have a great fun between you and your spouse as you sing. That is why the whole Song of Solomon is song of love. If you desire to enjoy the best of Gods love you will have to learn quite a lost of songs. God love songs. It is one of the reasons David and many singers won the heart of God. He even said we should sing a new song to the Lord (Psalms 96:1; Ephesians 5:19).

But this is not just singing but worshipping Him. You may not be able to enjoy God’s love to the peak until you learn how to effectively worship Him. This has to be in spirit and in truth (John 4:23). The scripture we read to day said, sing O barren. Every one knows that it looks odd to ask the barren to be singing. But in God that is the way out of the problem. Until Hannah stopped her sorrow her miracle was not delivered to her (1 Samuel 1:18).

I don’t know which area of your life looks barren, but as you learn to burst into singing unto the Lord, God’s word says then you shall break forth on the right hand and on the left and you seed shall inherit the gentiles (Isaiah 54:3). Friend, break out of sorrow into singing and your shame shall be over.

Prayer: Lord, put your song of love in my mouth.
“SINGING IS SIMPLY THE WAY OUT OF SORROW”
