 FAMILY FORUM


Hebrew 12:18-29 
Devotional:- "to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,” (V.23) NKJV

Every lovely family always has what I refer to as family forum. That is a period when the family comes together to care and share with one another. If you are going to enjoy the benefit of such family, you cannot be away and yet be having the best of the place. As a member of the family of God you must as well be regularly available in the fellowship with children of God. The bible refers to it as the church. The church is the body of Christ of which you are one. So deleting yourself from it will not make you enjoy the treatment Jesus the head gives to the body (Ephesians 5:25-30).

You need to know that attending a fellowship, is not to mark a religious register of attendance but it is the coming together of the saints. This forum is always having the presence of Jesus the head of the Church (Matthew 18:20). In His honor, such fellowship enjoys the company of the innumerable angels who comes to minister to God's people with all kinds of blessings (Healing, deliverance, help, encouragement and strength) Psalms 133:3.

It is there we hear the word of God that guides, instructs and corrects us. There we fellowship with one another. Friend, stop neglecting fellowship with the church in the name of schedule and appointment so that you do not dry as a detached branch of the body (John 15:4-7). And your strength will always be on the increase for victory (Psalm 84:7).

Prayer: Lord, help me to always long for the fellowship of your house.
“AS A MEMBER, IT IS ONLY FELLOWSHIP THAT AUTHENTICATE THAT YOU ARE A FELLOW”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
