  APPRECIATE HIM Psalms 136:1-9  Devotional:- “Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” (V.1) NKJV Most people have not started to enjoy God to the maximum. because they have not fully imbibed the wisdom of appreciation. No relationship will be able to survive for a long time if the spirit of appreciation is not imbibed. Can you imagine that you plan to buy something for someone you love, though you do not have the means but embarked on saving towards it. At last you successfully get the gift, rapped it beautifully with a rapper and present it to your friend. All that your friend did was to receive it and just say, “That is good,” in a frowning way. And he started talking about something else to make you forget about the gift. You will feel disappointed and almost regret your effort. This and others are what most men do to God. I Peter 5:5-11
Devotional:- “casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (V. 7) NKJV

A man could feel so lonely, especially when life looks average. This is when a man may not be having nor be lacking. At times, it is not too bad, but not really good. When you have to manage between the two sides. Such time, a man could feel deserted. This is because people could think you are hiding out or pretending. They’ve never seen you coming to beg, nor are you a rich man. But it is only God and you who know what exactly you are going through.

At such a period, people come to you to ask you. And since they are not your God, you cannot be discussing your plight with them. Even when you do the little within your strength, they feel you are bad. And then in your secret you think, who cares?

Friend, I like to remind you of God’s love letter to you. And in the scripture we read today, He said, He cares. We must learn to cast our cares on Him. Our cares are our needs and our challenges. God do not expect you to carry anything more than you. That will be out of order. To cast your cares on Him, learn to share your needs with Him and ask Him to meet them. Don’t make the mistake of helping Him to carry it when you leave it for Him. He is up to it. Just receive instruction of wisdom and obey Him. Let Him carry the burden while you go in peace and sleep peacefully. Go out rejoicing because He cares for you.

Prayer: Lord, help me to cast my burdens on you and live free of it.
“IF GOD IS GOD THEN HE IS UP TO IT, GIVE IT TO HIM”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
