But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). Jesus spent many of his nights praying and the days working. And when He was teaching the disciples, He said, “Pray lest you fall into temptatio...

AUTHORITY

 AUTHORITY

Luke 10:5-20
Devotional:- “Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you” (v. 19) NLT

One of the most sought after instrument in this world is authority. In the social setting of the world, when people have acquire some things of life, they then begin to go for authority. But because Jesus came from above, he made available to every believer by the reason of His love what is called true authority.

Authority is the power or right to enforce obedience. In the world here people cannot enjoy absolute authority. They can only enjoy delegated authority. But do you know that we have greater authority? And we can grow in this authority to become greater and greater by the level of our faith. We can possess total authority over the enemy the moment we are in tune with God and don’t mingle with sin. These are the only things that can easily deflate the strength of our authority (2 Corinthians 10:5-6).

In the scripture we read today, Jesus declared that he has given us authority over all the forces of the enemy. If only you can believe the authority and refuse to doubt it, then it will always work for you. You need to believe it so much that you’ll laugh after declaring it without fear, since you know that it is too sure. The trigger of the authority is the name of Jesus and the word of God. Friend, you are not ordinary. Even heaven and hell respect that authority. Stop looking like a nobody.

Prayer: Lord, let your authority start to manifest in my life.
“NO ONE WILL RESPECT YOUR AUTHORITY EXCEPT YOU LOOK LIKE ONE”
