MAKING GOD HAPPY

MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. Noah trusted Him and built an arc even on a dry land (Hebrew 11:7). Though, he had never seen rain before yet believed God and trusted Him compl...

YOUR SERVICES

Mark 10:41-45
Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (v.43) NKJV

To have the best of the kingdom of God, you must be willing to give faithful service everywhere you may find yourself. The truth is that our service attitude is what proves to God that we are faithful. Each of us must be willing to serve to earn our best from God. A lazy man may not have a portion in this kingdom. Jesus said, “Whosoever wants to be great among you must be your servant “(Mark 10:43).

Your service attitude is evidence to God that you are ready for your next level. Service is God's measuring rod for your readiness for lifting. Until you are faithful as a servant, you may not be qualified to become a master. The reason christ kept us here till now is that we might serve Him. Serving Him means, we allow Him to use us to reach out to others. This is something of a great joy to God (Luke 10:21).

Service takes humility. It is using what we have as an instrument of lifting to others. In that office where you work, whether as junior staff or management staff, business personnel, or an entrepreneur, God expects all of us to put on the attitude of a servant. This is by making sure that we are not just having income from what we do but are used to make others' lives better. Even Jesus said He came to serve others (Mark 10:45).

Many like to be the boss rather than the servant. But God will only reward you based on what you are doing to bless others and make life better. Friend, humble yourself to serve your parents, boss, or society. The Bible says our service should be as unto the Lord and not with eye service (Ephesians 5:7). If you always sleep in the office, to God, the wages you receive are considered stolen. Stop doing eye service. Wake up and work for what you earn. When the Lord will be looking for people to bless, He will always look for people in service (1 Samuel 16:1-13). May you be found serving the Lord always.

PRAYER: LORD, GRANT ME THE GRACE  TO ALWAYS LOVE TO SERVE.

“GOD WILL ALWAYS LOOK DOWN TO LIFT ONLY SERVANTS”
