FEAR

Romans 8:11-17
Devotional:- “For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father" (V.15) NKJV.

    Another thing you don’t have again in Christ Jesus is fear, though the devil will always try to push it over to you. The devil knows that the moment you are afraid, you have lost your faith. That is why what you are afraid of will always happen (Job 3:25). Since the enemy knows the terrible effect of this on the life of man, he does everything to keep very many people in fear. But do you know that as a new man in Christ, you have no fear anymore? God’s word says the spirit in you is not the spirit of fear (I Timothy 1:7). God’s word says, “We did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear...” (Romans 8;15). So, it is the spirit of bondage that wants to trick you into bondage that is pushing you to fear.

See, you are a spirit; you have a soul and dwell in a body. Your flesh (senses) is the one that can be made afraid and pass fear to your mind. Your spirit man cannot be afraid because you have the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 1:7). When you grow your spirit man by the word of God, you will always be able to quit fear when it wants to come in through your flesh. Fear is an effect of wrong information that comes into your mind. You will observe that good information builds your mind, but wrong or evil information breaks it. And Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted (Luke 4:18). So, at salvation, your broken heart was healed. And you cannot be afraid any more. You only need to stop listening to wrong and evil information. They will always attempt to put you in bondage. But the Bible says, “Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (1 Corinthians 3:17). Therefore, stand in the liberty that Christ has given you (Galatians 5:1).

You need to know that evil and unbiblical information are alien to your spirit. That is why when they are allowed, there will always be tension in your system since you are welcoming a stranger. Stop it now. Whatever breeds fear is your enemy? But greater is He that is in you (1 John 4:4). None can make him afraid. Wake up!

DECLARATION: I HAVE NO FEAR, I AM FREE FROM FEAR AND I AM BIGGER THAN FEAR IN JESUS NAME.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.
