MAKING GOD HAPPY

MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. Noah trusted Him and built an arc even on a dry land (Hebrew 11:7). Though, he had never seen rain before yet believed God and trusted Him compl...

BLESSED FIELD

BLESSED FIELD

Deuteronomy 28:1-4
Devotional:- “Blessed shall you be in the city and blessed shall you be in the field” (v.3) AMPC

It is the field that produces all the good foods that man enjoys. It is in the field that germination occurs. It is in the field the harvest is produced for man. It is at the field that marketers wait to take our products. It is in the field we exchanged our goods for money. When a man’s field is not blessed, he will have so much labour loss. When God created Adam, God blessed his field to produce the best of all things.

When God was blessing the children of Israel in the scriptures we read today, He blessed their field. The field today for some people could be their office, shop, or ministry. If your field is not as blessed as it is supposed to be today, it was not so from the beginning; what brought curses upon the human field was sin (Genesis 3:17-19). And if it was not so from the beginning, your new birth has given you the right to a new life (2 Corinthians 5:17).

For your field to find its dignity back, friend, begin to faithfully and diligently obey the voice of the Lord. Let Him be the one to guide you to where the market is plenty (Isaiah 48:17-18, Ecclesiastes. 10:15). As a new creature in Christ, your field shall be blessed from now on. Be faithful in your tithe, offering, prophet offering, and giving to the poor. Stop playing the unfaithful game with God (Luke 16:10-11). And God will make your field blessed. You will enjoy great customers and great sales. You will enjoy great business and great income. Your harvest from now shall be bountiful. Pronounce it upon yourself, and it shall be established (Job 22:28). As you forsake unrighteousness, you will flourish in God (Psalm 92:12).

PRAYER: LORD, GIVE ME THE GRACE FOR FINANCIAL FAITHFULNESS.
