MAKING GOD HAPPY

MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. Noah trusted Him and built an arc even on a dry land (Hebrew 11:7). Though, he had never seen rain before yet believed God and trusted Him compl...

Galatians 3:11-14
Devotional:- “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree")” (V. 13) NKJV.

The scripture says, "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away." (1 Corinthians 5:17). One major thing that is in the life of every man through Adam is the curse. God cursed Adam in the Garden of Eden, and since then the life of man has not been the same again. Apart from the general curses God placed upon humanity as a whole, the devil also took advantage of most families and established some curses in them. You may find some families who don’t ever succeed. Some families are all-around poor. Some are just nobody to be reckoned with. Some don’t have settled home. Some are bound to marry many wives or husbands. Some are hopeless drunkards, some womanizers to the core, and many more.

Friend, there are different sources of curses, but all of them have their roots in the curses God gave to man through Adam. When Jesus was hanged on the cross, He became a curse for us. He took our curses upon Himself on the cross, and by His power, He destroyed the power of our curses. God would not have allowed this to happen to His son but for our sake. The truth is that the root of your curses has been broken. Whatever you observe operating against your family has neither footing nor legal backing. Christ has become a curse for us. All that is left for you is the blessing of Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3).

You must stop believing in the curses and start to believe that you are no longer cursed. Start believing that you are the blessed of the Lord (Ephesians 1:3; 2 Corinthians 8:9). It takes your change of beliefs to change your life (Mark 9:23). Your new nature is the nature of God. This nature cannot be cursed. You are a blessed child (Numbers 23:23). Change your beliefs about yourself. You cannot be poor; you are only in ignorance. Get your authority from the scriptures and enter into God’s blessing.

DECLARATION: MY CURSES ARE BROKEN. I AM BLESSED OF GOD.
