MAKING GOD HAPPY

MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. Noah trusted Him and built an arc even on a dry land (Hebrew 11:7). Though, he had never seen rain before yet believed God and trusted Him compl...

The understanding of the scripture we read today will deliver you from frustration and discouragement forever. Then you will be able to choose whether you want to be poor or rich. Do not be discouraged because of ignorance. That is why in Hosea 4:6, the Bible Today, many Christians are the most did not say sinners are destroyed for lack of knowledge but “my people.”. This is because Christ has saved us from the formal and natural life to a new and supernatural one. But most of us don’t have the light that it takes to have the best of this kingdom. That is why we prefer prayers to obedience to God’s words. But Samuel said, “Obedience is better than sacrifice” (1 Samuel 15:22). I know that for you to have picked this devotional today, you are about to be blessed.

The Bible says, do not be deceived, misled, or misinformed. God will not allow Himself to be pushed or scorned, disdained, or mocked by anyone to do what He has never promised. Our pretensions or mere professions cannot deceive God when His words are put aside. It is what we sow that we shall reap. This affects every sphere and area of our lives. You better watch out (John 12:24).

If you don’t organise yourself to be faithful to God and man in your giving, poverty will be permitted. If you don’t organise yourself to begin to invest both in business and capital markets or other forms of investment, you are simply building a poor future. Your investment capacity must take you to a level where your dividends must be able to take care of you and your family per annum. Salary, no matter how much, without investment, is a trap. Whatever you have now does not matter; what gives a future to your financial life is your investment. Praying without labouring and investing is foolishness. It is your obedience that makes God release to you (Luke 16:10-12). Stop chasing shadows. Start to obey the Lord. God’s heavenly riches are waiting for you. You can only tap into it by your faithful investment and giving. Stop complaining; start the journey of obedience from your little level.

PRAYER: LORD, RELEASE THE GRACE FOR UNDERSTANDING ON ME.
