STRENGTH IN GOD

STRENGTH IN GOD 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 Devotional:- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (V4) NKJV      Many Christians today have so much confusion about their strength in God. It has made the church think that a few limited people can demonstrate the strength of God. So, multitudes are weak in strength. Though they come to church, yet in times of challenges, you see them rushing to another Christian whom they know to be stronger in God. Neglecting the fact that a New Testament believer is a potential priest and king for Christ (Revelation 5:10; Mark 16:17).

NO MORE SORROW

NO MORE SORROW

Isaiah 53:1-4
Devotional:- “Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted” (V. 4) NKJV.

It is high time you wake up to say a final bye-bye to sorrow in your life. Each believer has a heritage of joy in Christ Jesus. In the presence of God, there is joy for us (Psalms 16:11). By the reason of the finished work of our redemption, we are no more to be sorrowful nor ever supposed to have sorrow all the days of our life.

The scriptures we read today were a prophecy in the Old Testament of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. One of the package items of our redemption is everlasting joy (Isaiah 51:11). The redemption gift is heavenly life on earth, and in heaven there is no sorrow. That is where you belong and whatever is not obtainable there must not be found in your life. It was said of Jesus that He had carried our sorrows. Why? So that you and l should live all our days in joy

That is why you need to learn how to deal with the devil’s instrument called sorrow. You need to know that sorrow is a product of wrong information aimed at polluting your mind. You must learn to disallow poisonous information and live by the word of faith in God. Since our sorrow is taken away you can’t have it. But many buy from others by information. See, it is wrong to base your life attitude on your circumstance but let the word of God be your joy, The word will supply your hope and hope is a vessel of joy (Romans 5:2). Learn to always carry the consciousness of God’s presence with joy. And you will have the joy to the full (Psalms 16:11), See no devil but God’s presence always. If you see the devil, you will see fear. If you see God, you will gain hope and joy. Make your choice. If your sorrow is out of place, you cannot be sorrowful.

DECLARATION: SINCE I HAVE NO SORROW, I REFUSE IT IN MY LIFE IN JESUS NAME
