  A SINGING HEART Ephesians 5:10-20 Devotional:- “speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,” (v.19) NKJV Singing always, to some people, is equal to madness. Some believe that if you see a man who has never had a time of sorrow, then he is not a man. According to them, life must have ups and downs. But do you know that God want to simply make your days full of joy and void of sorrow. That is why Christ came to carry our sorrows away. If He has come to carry our sorrow away, then it is wrong to expect yourself to still be living in what is no more available (Isaiah 53:4). What the bible is teaching us today is contrary to what men will teach. God’s word wants us to always sing and be joyful. That is why God’s word says; rejoice in the Lord always and not sometimes (Philippians 4:4). INFLUENCE OF THE SPIRIT

Scripture Reading Acts 2:12-21
Devotional:- “But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, "Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words” (V. 14) NKJV

    To be inspired is to be influenced by a spirit for an action. Under the influence of inspiration, you will surely step out to act. No matter how weak anyone could be mentally or physically, the influence of the Holy Spirit will push him/her out to action. This can be by the Holy Spirit or by spirit of the world.

Peter who used to be afraid and hid around from the leader of Israel rose up in the public to speak (Act 2:14). This was not the natural Peter but a supernatural one. The Holy Spirit came upon the disciples on the day of Pentecost and they spoke in the tongues of the Holy Spirit. The community got disturbed and said they must be drunk. But Peter was inspired by the Holy Spirit and spoke with such power that 3,000 souls were saved.

To be inspired is to be influenced by the Spirit of God. This will make your words irresistible. It will make you speak mysteries. The influence of the spirit will make you take actions that you were afraid to take. It will make you become a vessel of God and the glory of God will be revealed through you. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to regularly be influenced by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
