THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. ACKNOWLEDGING HIM

ACKNOWLEDGING HIM

Scripture Reading Proverbs 3:1-10
Devotional:- “In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths” (V. 6). NKJV

Living by inspiration always makes you and God to be partners in doing all your things together (1 Corinthians 3:9). That makes you a wonder wherever you are and in whatever you are doing. But, there are processes to getting inspired by the Holy Spirit. One of the factors is that, you must regularly acknowledge God. This is because God will not force Himself on you (Genesis 6:3).

To acknowledge God is to remember to ask for His leading and help. In the covenant nature of God, you must ask Him before He can work together with you. Any time you forget to ask Him out, His presence is still with you but He is not obliged to work with you (Matthew 7:7).

Friend, you must therefore get used to asking Him to lead and help you as you speak, He will give you the right word and wisdom for solution. When Pharaoh was sharing his dreams with Joseph, I believe Joseph will be praying to God inside him, “Lord teach me what to say”, so he spoke wisdom that elevated him (Genesis 40:8). You are made for wisdom and solution. That shall be your life style from today in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Holy Spirit, remind me to always acknowledge God
