THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. HOLY GHOST BAPTISM

HOLY GHOST BAPTISM

Scripture Reading Joel 2:28-32
Devotional:- "And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions” (V. 28) NKJV

For a man to regularly enjoy the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, he must be baptized in the Holy Spirit. To be baptized in the Holy Spirit is to be filled with the Holy Spirit. This is because; it takes a cup that is filled up to overflow. To be inspired by the Holy Spirit is to be used by God to flow to others. The word of God says out of our lives shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:36-37).

Baptism of the Holy Spirit is what a believer must experience regularly. In Acts 2, the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit. In Acts 4, they were filled again. This is because, as we exercise ourselves in this world, we need to be refilled again and again. Not because the Holy Spirit can decrease, but it is our level of connection that needs to keep increasing.

To receive the Holy Spirit is by asking in faith that Jesus will baptize you (Luke 11:13). To be baptized is to be fully immersed into the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is everywhere. So, as soon as you ask, He comes into you. He then gives you the utterance to speak the language of heaven (Act 2:4, 1 Corinthians 14:2). Just continue to speak till you are totally immersed. Then, He will always inspire you. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, envelope me into your spirit afresh

“IT IS WHAT FILLS YOU THAT DRIVES YOU”
