  PROMISES Isaiah 55:1-13  Devotional:- “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (V.11) NKJV One thing that is common with lovers are promises. It is part of what a true lover will want to hear. To a true lover, a promise is like a cheque capable of turning into cash. So when people who love us promise us, we cherish the promises. And when we remember them, it gladdens our heart. We even sometime feel happy enough to share it with other friends. One other terrible thing that is common with people is failing to fulfill promises. That is why it will be unwise to marry someone based on mare promises. These failure in promises of people, in some cases, are due to the inadequacy of human strength, or unforeseen circumstances that can overtake the promises, so the promised often feel deceived. John 10:31-39
Read:- “do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God'?” (V. 36)


 

   Jesus is the visible image of the Godhead that we have seen in the flesh (Colossians 1:15, John 1:14). He is one with God (John 10:30). Don’t ever look at the word of God from the religious point of view; else it will not profit you. Jesus is the word of God (John 1:1-3), He is the light of life (John 1:4). Light illuminates or make of quick understanding. Without the light of life, nothing will be achieved on earth.
 
   He is the first son of God and He bought us by redemption into sonship with God (John 1:12, Hebrews 2:10). So, we have become co-heir with Christ. (Romans 8:14-17). Whatever belongs to Christ belongs to us and whatever belongs to God belongs to Christ (John 3:35). 
 
   He has conquered all the power of the enemy by finishing them on the cross (Colossians 2:14-15). God has also given him a name above all other names (Philippians 2:9-11). This is possible because the sacrifice He made by His blood was acceptable unto God. At the mention of His Name, angels respond to you. He is now a superior name to the devil. The devil must bow to His name any time and this name is been given unto you. (John 14:13-14). This is your right to power of God in the kingdom. You are a victor. Peace!
 
Prayer: Lord, let the authority of your name be in my mouth always.
 
“THE TRIGGER OF THE POWER OF GOD IS THE NAME OF JESUS”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
