  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. John 10:31-39
Read:- “do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God'?” (V. 36)


 

   Jesus is the visible image of the Godhead that we have seen in the flesh (Colossians 1:15, John 1:14). He is one with God (John 10:30). Don’t ever look at the word of God from the religious point of view; else it will not profit you. Jesus is the word of God (John 1:1-3), He is the light of life (John 1:4). Light illuminates or make of quick understanding. Without the light of life, nothing will be achieved on earth.
 
   He is the first son of God and He bought us by redemption into sonship with God (John 1:12, Hebrews 2:10). So, we have become co-heir with Christ. (Romans 8:14-17). Whatever belongs to Christ belongs to us and whatever belongs to God belongs to Christ (John 3:35). 
 
   He has conquered all the power of the enemy by finishing them on the cross (Colossians 2:14-15). God has also given him a name above all other names (Philippians 2:9-11). This is possible because the sacrifice He made by His blood was acceptable unto God. At the mention of His Name, angels respond to you. He is now a superior name to the devil. The devil must bow to His name any time and this name is been given unto you. (John 14:13-14). This is your right to power of God in the kingdom. You are a victor. Peace!
 
Prayer: Lord, let the authority of your name be in my mouth always.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
