MEEKNESS

MEEKNESS Numbers 12:1-10 Devotional:- “(Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)” (v.3) NKJV A great virtue that will help a man sustain a life of joy is meekness. This is an act of being gentle and ready to accept instructions and corrections. This is an act of not being willing to struggle with God but to easily submit to His will. Jesus said this kind of people will inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5). This is because they will always be willing to take instruction and correction. Sometimes correction or discipline of love could be harsh or strong, but a meek person has the fortitude to bear it and rejoice at it because he knows that such will always get him better and stronger. The meek are willing to wait to receive the help of God. He is simple when it comes to accepting the will of God. To him, God is always good, which makes him ever thankful and joyful. FELLOWSHIP

FELLOWSHIP

Hebrews 12:18-24
Read:   “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels” (v. 22)

The devil is doing so much now to discredit the ministers of God before the people, how much more the fellowship of the children of God. It has become where some go whenever they like, some just feel like staying in the house on Sunday and others are offended in their fellowship.

All of these are because we do not know the importance of fellowship of Children of God to our lives. The word fellowship is from the word fellow in the same ship. That is, people of the same mind, spirit and destination. It is in fellowship we influence each other for godliness (Proverbs 13:20). It is in the fellowship we are able to discover, serve and use our gift and we are not useless. It is in the fellowship we enjoy corporate anointing. (Ecclesiastes 4:9). It is in the fellowship we find right people to relate with, who can correct us and help us to grow.

If you are not in fellowship with other children of God, you will be tricked out of the kingdom without knowing. No one can succeed alone, you need the fellowship of God’s children where God’s presence is guaranteed (Matthew 18:20). Where you have God’s angels in the midst of people, where we receive the word of strength to conquer our challenges and progress in life. And you shall be established. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, give me a passion for the fellowship of your house.
