JOY

JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

THE CONSTITUTION

THE CONSTITUTION

2 Timothy 3:10-17
Read: “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (v.16)

Every kingdom operates with a constitution. It is the knowledge of the constitution that gives the citizen their rightful place in the kingdom. Many Christians are under the torment of the enemy today because; they do not know the governing rule or their right in the kingdom of God (Hosea 4:6)

The word of God is the constitution of the Kingdom of God (2 Timothy 3:16). The knowledge of it reveals to you your right in God. That is why you cannot be a strong Christian if you don’t study the word of God.

The word is your strength in life (Daniel 11:32). The word is your authority for victory (Luke 4:4). The word is your sword in battle (Ephesians 6:17). The word is your instrument of liberty (John 8:32). It governs and determines the life of people. It is by it you generate faith to conquer (Rom 10:17). Living without the word is living in a great risk of the enemy. That is why God’s word said, we should load it in our heart (Colossians 3:16). Stop taking it as a mere church text book. It is a bank of your power. The end has come to all the molestation of the enemy over your life. Just take the word daily and give it its place. And your victory will be evidential this year. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, give me a kin love for your word
