  FORMED FOR GODS FAMILY Hebrews 2:5-18 Devotional:- “For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (V. 10) The second major purpose of your creation is that you are formed for Gods family (1 John 3:1) God wants a family and he wanted you to be a part of it. The entire bible is full of the story of God building a family that will love him, honor and reign with him forever (Ephesians 1:5) NLT. God is love, so he cherish relationship (1 John 4:7-8). The nature of God is relational and that is why He identifies himself in fatherly terms; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When we turn to the Lord and give our lives to Jesus Christ, God becomes or Father we become His children, other believers become our brothers and sisters and the church becomes our spiritual family. QUALIFICATION   

John 3:1-8
Read: “Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God” (v.5)


   For anyone to be part of the kingdom of God, he/she must be born of water and of spirit. Without this, no one will be qualified to be part of the kingdom of God. So many people are praying that Jesus should come early, but they do not always check if they are qualified. To be born of water is to be born of the word of God. The Bible liken the word of God to water (Isaiah 55:10, John 15:3, Ephesians 5:26). It purges wrong things out of our mind. Information can reform, renew and refine. (Romans 12:2). 
 
   The ‘Spirit’ mentioned in the scripture is the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer. The two always work together to reform a child of God. It is what you are hearing that will determine what you will believe and that informs your behaviour (Mark 4:24)
 
   Friend, give room to the Holy Spirit in your life, love to be where the word of God is been shared. The word and the spirit work together (John 6:63). These are the major instrument to form you into the kingdom life. The devil will do all he can to discourage you from taking the word of God. Don’t give in to him and your life will change inside out to the life of the kingdom. Peace!
 
Prayer: Lord, put the love of your words in my heart.
 
“WHERE THE WORD OF GOD IS, CHILDREN OF GOD WILL BE THERE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
