  DESIGNED TO SERVE GOD Psalm 139:13-18 Devotional:- “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!” (V. 16 NLT)   God designed and formed you to fit into what He wants you to do to serve Him. The intended function determines the form of a building, so also your life. You are the way you are because you were made for specific ministry (Ephesians 2:10) Our scripture today simply means nothing that happens in your life is insignificant. God will never waste any ability unless He intend to use it for His glory (1 Peter 2:9) Before God will give you any assignment, He must have packaged you for it. This packaging is what we call shape (Jeremiah 1:5). Let us look at the meaning of each letter in your shape. The ‘S’ represents Spiritual gifts. These are special God-empowered abilities for serving Him, giving only to believers (1 Cor. 2:14). These gift cannot be bought because they are given by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:11). LOVING GOD    

Matthew 22:34-40
Read:    “Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'” (V. 37)


    As you are faced with the New Year ahead, there is a need to grow in your relationship with God. The word of God says the path of the just shines brighter and brighter (Proverbs 4:18). One of the ways to grow in your relationship with God, is to love God more than you have loved Him before. 

 
    The Bible says, we should love the Lord with all our heart, our soul, and with our entire mind. This means we should grow to live a life of total love for God. Our love to God is evident when we obey His instructions (John 14:23). Our love to God is evident in how much we love each other (1 John 4:8). We can demonstrate our love for God by serving in His kingdom. If we love Him, there will be nothing too big to give for the growth of His kingdom (John 3:16).
 
    Be willing to give your heart to Him (Proverbs 23:26). Be willing to invest time in serving the Lord; be willing to serve in one department or the other in the house of the Lord. Be a soul winner with all excitement. (Proverbs 11:30). This year, He will surprise you with His loving kindness. Peace!
 
Prayer: Lord, help me to truly live in your love for my life.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
