  MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. KINGDOM ADVERSARY    

1 Peter 5:6-11
Read: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (V. 8)


   
    So many people live as though they don’t have an adversary. That way, the devil takes advantage of them before they know it (2 Corinthians 2:11). Every kingdom have adversary and that is why no nation jokes with their military force that are always inside or outside. 
   God’s word teaches us, as an army of the Lord to be sober and vigilant because there is an adversary, the devil. He often uses people against each other unconsciously. He can use anyone against you. That is why the word of God teaches us to be strong in the Lord (Ephesians 6:10). So, you can’t afford to be a weak Christian. You and I must build up in faith regularly to be stronger than his devices.
 
   To be sober means, to be sincerely humble to accept your level of strength. To be vigilant means to stay alert, watchful, careful and not careless. You must be strong and not afraid but grow in faith (1 John 5:4). You must be strong to persistently resist the devil. This calls for sensitivity in the spirit. You are greater than him when Christ is in you (1 John 4:4). So, learn and take your place to confront him and you will always be victorious. Refuse to let him hinder your blessings this year. Don't be negligent about life. This year you will surely be unstoppable in Jesus name. Peace!
 
Prayer: Lord, open my understanding to my strength in you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
