PROTECT YOUR HEART Proverbs 4:20-27 Devotional:- “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” (V. 23) NLT Everyone is born with a strength capable of rising to greatness. In every growing child is a seed of greatness. It is this strength that makes the youth so creative and energetic. That is why each young person looks at the future with great hope. The enemy tries to destroy this strength. As strong as many started in life, not many could strike the chord of success because their strength was destroyed.

KINGDOM ADVERSARY
1 Peter 5:6-11 Read: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (V. 8)
So many people live as though they don’t have an adversary. That way, the devil takes advantage of them before they know it (2 Corinthians 2:11). Every kingdom have adversary and that is why no nation jokes with their military force that are always inside or outside. God’s word teaches us, as an army of the Lord to be sober and vigilant because there is an adversary, the devil. He often uses people against each other unconsciously. He can use anyone against you. That is why the word of God teaches us to be strong in the Lord (Ephesians 6:10). So, you can’t afford to be a weak Christian. You and I must build up in faith regularly to be stronger than his devices.
To be sober means, to be sincerely humble to accept your level of strength. To be vigilant means to stay alert, watchful, careful and not careless. You must be strong and not afraid but grow in faith (1 John 5:4). You must be strong to persistently resist the devil. This calls for sensitivity in the spirit. You are greater than him when Christ is in you (1 John 4:4). So, learn and take your place to confront him and you will always be victorious. Refuse to let him hinder your blessings this year. Don't be negligent about life. This year you will surely be unstoppable in Jesus name. Peace!
Prayer: Lord, open my understanding to my strength in you.
“LIGHT AND DARKNESS ARE ALWAYS AGAINST EACH OTHER, WATCH OUT”
THE GRACIOUS Exodus 34:1-8 Devotional:- “…The Lord, the Lord a God merciful and gracious, long-suffering and abundance in goodness and truth” (V.6) AMPL For believers of this Generation to have the fullness of heaven as the word of God promised, they will need to have the right understanding of who our God is. It is the wrong concept of God that has limited the exploitation of Christians and made many lives wrongly. God’s word says those who know their God shall be strong (Daniel 11:32). If you will be stronger than your challenges you must know your God.
ONLY THE VICTORS Revelation 21:1-8 Devotional:- “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son” (v. 7) NKJV In this part of the world, many are not so used to taking responsibility over challenges. Instead of been proactive to foresee and prevent issues, people are used to looking out for whom to blame and who should help out (Proverbs 14:23). It is vivid that we are in a challenging season. It is also clear that we are drawing closer to the end of the age.
ALTERNATIVES II Kings 5:1-15 Devotional:- “Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage”. (V12) NKJV It is always the trick of the devil to make us lose sight of God. So he often makes us see alternatives to God. His own goal is to take people away from God. The enemies so much make his way look easy and quick but with eternal implications. That is why you need to grow your faith and not yield to his tricks. The devil’s alternative will always be with covenants that bind into darkness.
