  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. KINGDOM ADVERSARY    

1 Peter 5:6-11
Read: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (V. 8)


   
    So many people live as though they don’t have an adversary. That way, the devil takes advantage of them before they know it (2 Corinthians 2:11). Every kingdom have adversary and that is why no nation jokes with their military force that are always inside or outside. 
   God’s word teaches us, as an army of the Lord to be sober and vigilant because there is an adversary, the devil. He often uses people against each other unconsciously. He can use anyone against you. That is why the word of God teaches us to be strong in the Lord (Ephesians 6:10). So, you can’t afford to be a weak Christian. You and I must build up in faith regularly to be stronger than his devices.
 
   To be sober means, to be sincerely humble to accept your level of strength. To be vigilant means to stay alert, watchful, careful and not careless. You must be strong and not afraid but grow in faith (1 John 5:4). You must be strong to persistently resist the devil. This calls for sensitivity in the spirit. You are greater than him when Christ is in you (1 John 4:4). So, learn and take your place to confront him and you will always be victorious. Refuse to let him hinder your blessings this year. Don't be negligent about life. This year you will surely be unstoppable in Jesus name. Peace!
 
Prayer: Lord, open my understanding to my strength in you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
