  GOOD WILL Luke 2:8-14 Devotional:- “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” (V. 14) NKJV A great blessing of God to humanity at the birth of Christ is goodwill. A nation without it is completely under bondage. They cannot claim, nor ask, nor can they have anything from the Lord except by the common grace (Matthew 5:25). This is what the sons of men are before the coming of the Messiah. Men have been living under the pressure and the punishment of sin and the law. Men were governed spiritually by the law they were never capable of obeying. When Jesus came, then came the time of grace. This brought us into the season of the goodwill of God (Ephesians 2:8). Will is what every father writes to give the right of inheritance to each of the children. Before Christ, God’s will was not approachable for men. It was not favorable for a natural man. KINGDOM ADVERSARY    

1 Peter 5:6-11
Read: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (V. 8)


   
    So many people live as though they don’t have an adversary. That way, the devil takes advantage of them before they know it (2 Corinthians 2:11). Every kingdom have adversary and that is why no nation jokes with their military force that are always inside or outside. 
   God’s word teaches us, as an army of the Lord to be sober and vigilant because there is an adversary, the devil. He often uses people against each other unconsciously. He can use anyone against you. That is why the word of God teaches us to be strong in the Lord (Ephesians 6:10). So, you can’t afford to be a weak Christian. You and I must build up in faith regularly to be stronger than his devices.
 
   To be sober means, to be sincerely humble to accept your level of strength. To be vigilant means to stay alert, watchful, careful and not careless. You must be strong and not afraid but grow in faith (1 John 5:4). You must be strong to persistently resist the devil. This calls for sensitivity in the spirit. You are greater than him when Christ is in you (1 John 4:4). So, learn and take your place to confront him and you will always be victorious. Refuse to let him hinder your blessings this year. Don't be negligent about life. This year you will surely be unstoppable in Jesus name. Peace!
 
Prayer: Lord, open my understanding to my strength in you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
