LEARN AND RELATE

LEARN TO RELATE Romans 12:14-21  Devotional:- “Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited” (v. 16) NIV. We live in a world today that promotes youthful excesses more than that of the mature. We do this in the name of youthful innovations. That is why no office wants to employ relatively old individuals any more. It’s a competitive world. This is making a greater percentage of the world fail in the area of relationships. This is because it is a youthful idea to think you don’t need others. The world of this age is trying to build self-sufficient people. This is the reason many have not learnt the wisdom of relationships. For this reason, today, many people don’t have a home. Many have lost their job and joy. Many have missed many opportunities. The scripture we read today teaches us the right attitude to enjoy a relationship with others. Be careful of pride or overvaluing yourself (Romans 12:...

ROLE OF THE CITIZEN

ROLE OF THE CITIZEN

Revelation 11:15-19
Devotional: “Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"” (v. 15)
In every kingdom, the citizens have responsibilities they must be involved in. There are benefits for a citizen to enjoy in the kingdom he/she belongs, but there are also enormous responsibilities to be carried out. When you see a citizen suffering in his country, he probably may not be doing what he ought to do to enjoy the blessings of the country.

The role of the citizen of the kingdom of God on earth is to enthrone Jesus wherever they are. It is your role as a citizen of the kingdom of God to expand the kingdom through the Gospel of Jesus. It is your role as a citizen to demonstrate the love of God around you till the kingdom of this world becomes the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Remember, the territories that Jesus want to take is first the heart of men (Luke 17:21). This goal can be achieved as we take an intercessory project for the soul of people around us. We are to break down the throne of the devil in the heart of people. We are to enthrone Jesus in their heart through the gospel of Jesus (Jeremiah 1:10). Through the preaching of the gospel, we are able to bring people to the kingdom of God (Rom 1:16). Our role is to serve God and to see God’s kingdom extended to all men. Then the blessings of the kingdom shall be ours and our peace and prosperity shall be guaranteed. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, enlist me in your kingdom army.

“A MAN IS EITHER SERVING IN GOD’S KINGDOM OR OTHER KINGDOM”
