  FORMED FOR GODS FAMILY Hebrews 2:5-18 Devotional:- “For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (V. 10) The second major purpose of your creation is that you are formed for Gods family (1 John 3:1) God wants a family and he wanted you to be a part of it. The entire bible is full of the story of God building a family that will love him, honor and reign with him forever (Ephesians 1:5) NLT. God is love, so he cherish relationship (1 John 4:7-8). The nature of God is relational and that is why He identifies himself in fatherly terms; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When we turn to the Lord and give our lives to Jesus Christ, God becomes or Father we become His children, other believers become our brothers and sisters and the church becomes our spiritual family. THE HOLY SPIRIT 

1 John 5:1-8
Read: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” (v. 7) KJV
 
   The Holy Spirit is not just a mere spirit. He is the third person of the Trinity of God (1 John 5:6-8). In other word, He is the spirit of God. He is a personality like Jesus who go about doing good (Act 10:38), He dwells in us. (John 14:17). Do you know that the father, the son and the Holy Spirit cannot be separated? The word of God says, they are one. So, if the Holy Spirit is in you, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is in you (1 Corinthians 3:16).
 
   Jesus said it is for our profit that He goes that the father can send the Holy Spirit to us (John 16:7). This is because Jesus as God in human body cannot be in Jerusalem and Jericho at the same time. The profit is that the Holy Spirit as a Spirit can be in all of us in different places at the same time. He is Omnipresent (Psalm 139:7). So, we all can be led by Him and bear the fruits of the Spirit (Gal 5:22).
 
   The Holy Spirit strengthens our week nature to stand strong for God (Romans 8:9). The Holy Spirit comforts and helps us in any situation we may find ourselves (John 14:26). He teaches us all things. He gives us courage to face our situations. He gives us the right word for each situation. He inspires us through the word of God to succeed. That is why I know you cannot fail. Peace!
 
Prayer: Spirit of God, take over my life and family forever.
 
“IF THE HOLY SPIRIT DWELLS IN YOU, THEN YOU ARE HIS HOUSE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
