HOPE Psalm 42:1-11 Devotional:- “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God” (v.11) NKJV If any man will experience sustaining joy, he must first be hopeful. Hope is the strength of joy. Hope is the reason for the coming joy. It is an expectation according to the will of God. It is an assurance of a coming joy (Hebrews 12:2). It is also the strength of faith (Hebrews 11:1). If there is no hope, there may also not be joy, but a man of hope will continue in joy. Oftentimes, we observe the current happenings around us, and it looks like there is no hope. The truth is that current events are not the determining factor for our tomorrow. God’s word says we cannot compare the suffering of now to the glory that is coming (Romans 8:18). THE HOLY SPIRIT 

1 John 5:1-8
Read: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” (v. 7) KJV
 
   The Holy Spirit is not just a mere spirit. He is the third person of the Trinity of God (1 John 5:6-8). In other word, He is the spirit of God. He is a personality like Jesus who go about doing good (Act 10:38), He dwells in us. (John 14:17). Do you know that the father, the son and the Holy Spirit cannot be separated? The word of God says, they are one. So, if the Holy Spirit is in you, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is in you (1 Corinthians 3:16).
 
   Jesus said it is for our profit that He goes that the father can send the Holy Spirit to us (John 16:7). This is because Jesus as God in human body cannot be in Jerusalem and Jericho at the same time. The profit is that the Holy Spirit as a Spirit can be in all of us in different places at the same time. He is Omnipresent (Psalm 139:7). So, we all can be led by Him and bear the fruits of the Spirit (Gal 5:22).
 
   The Holy Spirit strengthens our week nature to stand strong for God (Romans 8:9). The Holy Spirit comforts and helps us in any situation we may find ourselves (John 14:26). He teaches us all things. He gives us courage to face our situations. He gives us the right word for each situation. He inspires us through the word of God to succeed. That is why I know you cannot fail. Peace!
 
Prayer: Spirit of God, take over my life and family forever.
 
“IF THE HOLY SPIRIT DWELLS IN YOU, THEN YOU ARE HIS HOUSE”

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
