There are so many clubs in this world that men are proud to be part of. This is because being a member of such a club entitles them to some benefit. It entitles them to some privileges and earns them great respect. Membership of such a club is not picked on the floor. It takes some process and commitment to achieve it. Much more than this , God’s word says we are members of the body of Christ. When I see some believers, not mindful of thei...

The major purpose of creating man was to dominate over the earth. This is because the purpose of a product is in the assignment given to it to carry out. The reason God wanted us to dominate the earth was to make us represent Him here and to prevent the enemy from ruling the earth. So, our dominion was delegated. That is why it demands clear knowledge to operate in it.

It is clear in the scripture, God’s manual of man, that we are created to have dominion. That is, to take over, take control and take charge of all on the earth. A producer is only successful when the product serves the purpose of production. When authority is delegated to a man, it often comes with a measure of power and liberty to operate it, though not without its own challenges. This entails that man should not be hindered by anything to achieve God’s given goal. Every rulership is also supposed to be with comfort, that is, the absence of suffering and corruption. Man is supposed to lack nothing with what God has created with him. He has been given all he needs to succeed. These simply mean you are not created to lack but have all things in abundance.

But the enemy came, deceived man and took away his mandate. Since then, man has been under the authority that should be under him. This has brought frustration and failure to the lives of many. The good news is that God in His mercy has sent Jesus Christ to restore our authority (Luke 10:19). Friends, all you need to do is to be willing to walk in faith and obedience to the truth wherever you are and in what God has handed over to you from now on. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and to give you liberty. What they said you will not do, you will find yourself doing it. And you will rule without a hindrance.

Prayer: Lord, restore my strength for dominion.

“WITH THE MANDATE OF DOMINION, YOU WILL SURELY RULE”

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.
