There are so many clubs in this world that men are proud to be part of. This is because being a member of such a club entitles them to some benefit. It entitles them to some privileges and earns them great respect. Membership of such a club is not picked on the floor. It takes some process and commitment to achieve it. Much more than this , God’s word says we are members of the body of Christ. When I see some believers, not mindful of thei...

Acts 10:30-40

God has created each one on the earth to be a blessing to nations (Genesis 12:1-3, Isaiah 60:15). So, he has loaded us with unique abilities to be a blessing to people around us. No matter what you may be going through, one of the ways to sail through is by being a blessing.

In the scripture we read today, as much as Jesus was being persecuted, He kept being a blessing to His world. And up till now, we are still tapping into His goodness. Notice the life of Joseph also, as much as he was persecuted, he kept being a blessing. And eventually he also fulfilled his destiny notwithstanding the enemies (Genesis 40:1-4). Do you know you are created for others? When Jesus was born, the angel sang joy to the world (Luke 2:10). Do you know you are also a destiny sent to give joy to the world, to put a smile on the faces of the confused and frustrated?

Friend, wherever you might have found yourself today, in that office, home, school, or church, God has put you there to be a blessing; keep on being of help to everyone around you. Let God use you to change that company for good. Put in your best in that house and group to make things go forward. And you will soon be promoted. There is something in you that can do what will promote someone; go ahead and do it. Can you sing? Then show up in the church. Don’t stay back. Soon, the world will know you, and you shall shine. As God sees it in your heart to be a blessing, then He will keep on blessing you. And greatness will soon answer to you.

Prayer: Lord, make me a help to others in my life.

“GOD WILL ONLY FLOW TO THOSE WHO ARE WILLING TO FLOW OUT”

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

DOMINION

DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.
