There are so many clubs in this world that men are proud to be part of. This is because being a member of such a club entitles them to some benefit. It entitles them to some privileges and earns them great respect. Membership of such a club is not picked on the floor. It takes some process and commitment to achieve it. Much more than this , God’s word says we are members of the body of Christ. When I see some believers, not mindful of thei...

Proverbs 28:15-22

Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com

Many people, especially Christians in this part of the world, have not woken up to the fact that nothing will fall from heaven. Everything man will ever need is already provided here on earth. We only need to be willing to work to locate them. From the day you begin to know that the blessing of God is waiting at your work, then your life will begin to change for good.

Today, so many people have this wrong concept about God’s blessing. So many have moved to the church and are no longer working but praying. They believe someone will soon come to give them millions of naira. Men of God could have this testimony because they work to lift people, so men must bless them in return. But do you know that your blessing, help and favour are waiting at your work as a reward (James 2:17, Philippians 2:12).

Yes, God use people to give you at times, but it will be terrible if you spend your entire lifetime waiting for what men may give you, when God has given you what you can do to get money. Stop chasing fantasies or building castles in the air, that is, pursuing things that are real. Friend, go out and work. That one day you always think about may never come. I have never heard of one dollar that mistakenly fell from an aircraft. Most people you are waiting on are also waiting on the Lord. God has promised to bless the work of your hand, so go and work.

Prayer: Lord, help me to appreciate my ability to work and work out my salvation.

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.
