POWER OF PROPHECY Ezekiel 37: 1-12  Devotionall:- “So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army” (V. 10) NKJV      There is a strong need for us to recognize the power of the word of God spoken through His servants. If you observe the word of God, you will realise that most of what God is doing is done through His spoken word. When He wanted to create the heaven and the earth, He only began to speak, “Let there be… and there was….” This is to let you know that God’s power lies in the strength of His word (Hebrews 4:12). God’s word is God Himself (John 1:1-5). So God is as powerful as is word.

FULL VIEW Numbers 33:1-10  Devotional:- “They departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day after the Passover the children of Israel went out with boldness in the sight of all the Egyptians” (v. 3) NKJV      When God is ready to set someone free, He will first render His enemy powerless. This is because the enemy never intended for anyone to be free. When the devil captivates a person, he subjects him/her to eternal bondage. He may even have some individuals watching over him to prevent anyone from setting him free. Such was the devil’s plan for the children of Israel in the land of Egypt. However, when it was time for God to liberate them, He first weakened the hand of the Egyptians, enabling Him to set His people free.

YOU SHALL FLY Isaiah 60:1-9 Devotional:- "Who are these who fly like a cloud, And like doves to their roosts?” (v.8) NKJV      The most spacious place on this planet earth is the atmosphere. It is simply endless. No matter how much you fly in the atmosphere, you cannot see its end. What we call the sky (space) has become one of the most mysterious things to the scientist. The scientists call it an ever-expanding sky.

I SHALL SHINE Isaiah 60:1-12 Devotional:- “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you” (V.1) NKJV      Everyone created by God is made and programmed to shine. God has never destined anyone to be a failure. You can see this expressed in the word of God several times. When God wanted to increase Abraham’s faith, He told him to number the stars if he could, for his children would be like them (Genesis 15:4-6).

WAYS ON WATER Exodus 14:10-22 Devotional:- “So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.” (v. 22) NKJV      The enemy's trick in the lives of so many people today is to make them believe that they have come to their crossroads and that the road has ended. So many always agree with this deceptive thought, which leads to their frustrations. The enemy makes them look at situations around them as evidence of his words. So, many people easily agree with the devil and become victims of his deceit.

HE WILL HELP YOU Isaiah 41:1-10  Devotional:- “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (v.10) NKJV      For a man’s life to be meaningful, he will surely need help. No one has risen to be anything great in life that will not have enjoyed God’s help. It is the mystery behind every success. Help is the catalyst for the lifting and success of people. Successful climbing in life is a function of help.

HARD SERVICES Isaiah 40:1-5  Devotional:- “Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, That her warfare is ended, That her iniquity is pardoned; For she has received from the LORD's hand Double for all her sins" (v.2) NKJV      A greater number of people in the world today are experiencing hard times. It is a trouble that has turned many lives poor and others rich. Life becomes a burden to a man going through a season of hard service. Such people will see God as wicked for allowing them to come and experience such a season in the world.

BARS OF IRON Isaiah 45:1-7 Devotional:- “'I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron.” (V. 2) NKJV      Sometimes, when we look into God's promises for our lives, we easily consider the question, "How can this be?" This question reveals our limitations in understanding the things of God. Mary also asked this question when the angel visited her and told her of God's program for her life.

CROWN THE YEAR Psalms 65:1-13  Devotional:- “You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance” (V. 11) NKJV      God does different wonders in men's lives at different times. Each year is designed for something in God's mind. Some might have thought that years are just for dates. Listen, this could make you miss out on God's plan. The truth is that God’s plan and agenda come with time and season (Ecclesiastics 3:1). You will be well-positioned for His blessing when you are aware of this.

OVER TAKING I King 18:41-46 Devotional:- “Then the hand of the LORD came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel” (V. 46) NKJV      This is one of the most spectacular season of your life. This is because you will overtake many things in your life. Sometimes, as men in the flesh, the enemy makes us see the lives of people around us and makes us see how progressive they are. And instead of us rejoicing and thanking God with them, the devil makes it result in our sorrow. This is because he makes us see it as though we are backward. But this is a thought of immaturity because you don’t use someone else's time to run your race in life.

GREAT LIGHT Isaiah 9:1-7  Devotional:- “The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined.” (v. 2) NKJV      It is a fact that if anyone is walking in darkness, such may fall and stumble, but when there is light, everyone walks with confidence, and some might even run. No matter how good a car may be, even when it is new, the moment the headlights and other lights are not working, the journey will not be smooth and fast in dark times. So, when it comes to the smooth running of the car at night, the engine is not the most important, but the light. So, it is in our lives. 

DREAMS OF GLORY Genesis 31:10-13 Devotional:- "And it happened, at the time when the flocks conceived, that I lifted my eyes and saw in a dream, and behold, the rams which leaped upon the flocks were streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted” (v.10) NKJV      Very many people in the world today are finding it tough to make a living or succeed from the works of their hands. Some people have applied all kinds of wisdom they know and yet have nothing to show for it. Most of these kinds of problems are mostly blamed on the devil. But the Bible, the book of solutions to all human problems, says people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). This does not mean we do not have a PhD.  But it does mean we have not allowed God to teach us the way to prosper (Isaiah 48:17).

ON GUARD Psalms 91:1-11 Devotional:- “For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.” (v.11) NKJV      One of the human need is security. Everyone enjoys life when they have a sense of security. Security commands peace and rest. It makes you feel safe. A nation without security is not safe from external aggression; a city without divine security is not safe for its people to dwell in. The devil always plans to attack the peace of the people, but the Lord will preserve you for the remaining days of your life. This is the message God asked me to give to you. The hosts of heaven are on guard, watching over you.

FEAR TURNED AROUND Genesis 33:1-10  Devotional:- “But Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept” (v.4) NKJV      Sometimes in life, when a man has put in his best to achieve a thing and results in failure, he starts to nurse the fear of failure in that aspect of his life. Little did we know that God can always turn our fear to favour. Whatever has made you afraid so far—it could be your children, house, spouse, business, academics, or ministry—this year has come to turn it into a surprise for you.

AGENT OF BLESSING Genesis 30:25-35  Devotional:- “And Laban said to him, "Please stay, if I have found favor in your eyes, for I have learned by experience that the LORD has blessed me for your sake” (v.27) NKJV      When God’s hand of blessing is upon anyone, wherever he/she turns to shall deliver his blessing. Most men think they have to force their way to the top by crooked means or by killing. Little do they know that it takes the hand of God on a man to be blessed (I Chronicles 4:10). In this season, the hand of God shall be upon you, not only to bless you but also to make you an agent of blessing.

DEW OF HEAVEN Genesis 27:21-29 Devotional:- “Therefore may God give you Of the dew of heaven, Of the fatness of the earth, And plenty of grain and wine” (v.28) NKJV      We are living in a world where people depend on natural means to make it, yet God has decided to give unto His people in this season a supernatural means to His blessing. This is what I call the dew of heaven. Many people are sowing on the earth and this does not necessarily command much harvest. This is because power for increase is not in the hands of men but in the hands of God (1 Corinthians 3:6).

STARS Genesis 15:1-6 Devotional:- “Then He brought him outside and said, "Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them." And He said to him, "So shall your descendants be" (V.5) NKJV      When God intends to do something in a man's life, He will keep repeating it to him. This is to let his faith become strong enough for him to receive the miracle. This is not an ordinary year; it is a year with peculiar blessings to make you peculiar. All you need to do is to believe in God.

NEW NAME Genesis 17:1-9  Devotional:- “No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations” (v.5) NKJV      There are different names in the world today; some are pleasant and some are not. Some are meaningless while some are meaningful. Some are common, and others are uncommon. The question is: what is the importance of the name? The truth is that they may not have been that important till we come to know the power of confession. What people pronounce on you goes a long way to affect your life. God’s word says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue...” (Proverbs 18:21). That is why you must know the meaning of the name you bear.

SING, OH BARREN Isaiah 54:1-8 Devotional:- "Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman," says the Lord” (V.1) NKJV      In the lives of so many people. Life looks like a waste. To them, life seems to be meaningless, this is because life has been unproductive for them. They’ve done all within their capacity but to no good result. Sometimes you would have done all within your strength without meaningful result. 

NOT FORSAKING Genesis 28:10-22  Devotional:- “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you" (v. 15) NKJV      Looking at the differences between man and God, it is always advisable to abide by God’s words and promises rather than those of men. In the course of the journey of life, sometimes, we commit some errors, and it will look as if all is falling and ending. Such times men often withdraw themselves from you, thinking in their hearts that they should not partake of your falling. So, at such times, mockers increase, and people laugh at you. They conclude in themselves that it has finished for you, but I love God, for He is not a man.

YOU WILL BE EXEMPTED Psalms 91:1-11  Devotional:- “A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you” (V.7) NKJV      Just like God has a good and glorious plan for His people, so also the devil has his plan. He is always out to fulfill his master plan. And this is to steal, to kill, and to destroy (John 10:10). You will observe that the enemy has gone so wild in this season. That is why you must put your total trust in the Lord Jesus. No matter the troubles in this end time, He can preserve His own.

HE WILL GUIDE Psalms 32:1-11 Devotional:- I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye” (v. 8) NKJV      It is glaring that when a life lacks guidance or instruction, such a life cannot have its best. That is why God’s word says, in the multitude of counsel there is safety (Proverbs 24:6). One of the problems of this generation is the trap of confusion the devil has made for them. Most people want to make it but don’t know how to go about it. Some want security, they’ve done so much to have it, but they don’t know the way out. But this is a special time for you. 

GREAT NATION Genesis 12:1-9  Devotional:- “I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing” (V.2) NKJV      Everyone created by God is destined to be great, including you and your family. Greatness is the heritage of all God's children. I read about one of the nations of the earth, that at least each family has a great person. God is about to do the same thing in this nation and He is starting from you. Please believe and accept it.

BEING FRUITFUL Genesis 1:26-31 Devotional:- “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth" (V.28) NKJV      So many lives in this world are fruitless in one area or another. This fruitlessness could be in marriage, business, or spiritual life. I want you to know that this is not in God's plan or program for you. Anytime I read through the scripture we read today, I feel instructed and commanded.

MOUNTAIN TOP Isaiah 2:1-5  Devotional:- “Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the LORD's house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it” (V. 2) NKJV      It is already part of the agenda of God to lift you up in life at the right time (I Peter 5:6). And I know that this is the time. It is only when the time has not come that the enemy can be strong. But when it is time, all forces shall give up. Whatever strength your enemy has been using against you shall no more prevail. It is your turn to rise to the top.

NEW  THING Isaiah 43:18-21  Devotional:- “For I'm going to do a brand-new thing. See, I have already begun! Don't you see it? I will make a road through the wilderness of the world for my people to go home, and create rivers for them in the desert!? (V.19) TLB      Sometimes we make the mistake of basing our faith not on the word of God but upon our experiences. Many of us do not know that faith will always be weak in us when we allow it to attend the school of experience. That is, we weigh it or compare it with what we’ve gone through in the past. Then it becomes doubt. I know you might have gone through all kinds of experiences in the past years. You have prayed, and nothing happened. You have waited only to see nothing. Yet you will need to believe God afresh for a new experience in this year.

APPLE OF HIS EYE Zechariah 2:6-10  Devotional:- “For thus says the LORD of hosts: "He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye” (v.8) NKJV      We need to know that God is so jealous of us and He wants to preserve us. Though we are living in a wicked world, God has His program to protect and preserve His children. It is only a wicked father who will not protect his own people when he possesses the ability to do so. And God is a good father. Whatever loss you have experienced in the past, this year will be a year of better experiences for you. It shall be peaceful and calm.

WALL OF FIRE Zachariah 2:1-5  “For I,' says the LORD, 'will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst” (V.5) NKJV      One of the troubles that brings fear into the hearts of people today is insecurity. Most people in this part of the world always feel insecure. And when you look at the situations and experiences that surround us, they often want to make us feel insecure. This causes many to live their lives in fear in the day and at night.

EXODUS Exodus 12:31-42 Devotional:- “Then he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, "Rise, go out from among my people, both you and the children of Israel. And go, serve the LORD as you have said” (V.31) NKJV      God, by the power of His mercy, has designed this season for the release of so many people. I like you to know, that, as each year rolls on, God visits different people in different ways. The enemy often rejoices over the downfall of men; he takes pleasure in the failure of people. This is because he knows that your success is the success of God’s work on the earth. So when someone fails, the enemy rejoices. But he has failed in your life. In this season God has always designed to roll in a new season in the life of His people. Friend. This is your season of Exodus.

RESURRECTION Mathew 28:1 -7 Devotional:- “And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. (V.2) NKJV      God has created everyone living on earth to see success and victory. But it is a pity that many lives are not fulfilling God's plan. Many people sometimes blame God for their failures. But we need to know that God desires us to succeed very strongly. Our success is His joy (Luke 10:17-21). This is because we are created to stand here for God. So, your failure brings no glory to Him. It is the enemy who often keeps people in the grave. He did the same thing to Jesus, but He resurrected.
