LOVE DEFINED I John 4:7-11 Devotional:- “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love” (V.8) NKJV Today, many people have been put into great trouble simply because they are looking for love. Since the nature of man cannot enjoy living without a lover, everyone searches for one wholeheartedly. If you find anyone who says he doesn’t need love from anyone, he is not sincere. He will soon find himself in desperate need of love. Since love is a universal need, men always seek for it, and most people never find it. There are quite a lot of things men term love, which are not, and has inturn misled and confused them. Until you can define your need, you may not have them met. This necessitates the need to truly define love. The scripture we read today gave us the true meaning of love. And you will be wise to embrace the word of God. It said, “God is love” (1 John 4:8). Genesis 28:10-22 
Devotional:- “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you" (v. 15) NKJV

    Looking at the differences between man and God, it is always advisable to abide by God’s words and promises rather than those of men. In the course of the journey of life, sometimes, we commit some errors, and it will look as if all is falling and ending. Such times men often withdraw themselves from you, thinking in their hearts that they should not partake of your falling. So, at such times, mockers increase, and people laugh at you. They conclude in themselves that it has finished for you, but I love God, for He is not a man.

As Jacob was facing his own time of rejection and neglect, he was left alone to face his challenges. But God couldn’t throw him away. He knew how much He had invested in him; He knew the destiny He had packaged for him, and so God could not but stand by him. He came and visited him when he least expected and gave him a covenant of His presence, protection, and fulfillment of his destiny.

Friend, God is visiting you in an unusual way this year. He can’t throw you away. He has loaded so much on you for glory than to overlook you. He said, He is with you. He will keep you wherever you go. And will bring you back to your land of glory. He will fulfil all that He has spoken concerning you. He is a faithful God. Trust in Him. Fulfil your vows, and He shall always stand by you. He will help you in all your ways. Those who refused to help you shall soon see you in glory.

PRAYER: LORD, LET YOUR PRESENCE EVER BE WITH ME.

“IT IS NOT OVER UNTIL YOU ARE FULFILLED”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
