THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. NOT FORSAKING

NOT FORSAKING

Genesis 28:10-22
Devotional:- “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you" (v. 15) NKJV

Looking at the differences between man and God, it is always advisable to abide by God’s words and promises rather than those of men. In the course of the journey of life, sometimes, we commit some errors, and it will look as if all is falling and ending. Such times men often withdraw themselves from you, thinking in their hearts that they should not partake of your falling. So, at such times, mockers increase, and people laugh at you. They conclude in themselves that it has finished for you, but I love God, for He is not a man.

As Jacob was facing his own time of rejection and neglect, he was left alone to face his challenges. But God couldn’t throw him away. He knew how much He had invested in him; He knew the destiny He had packaged for him, and so God could not but stand by him. He came and visited him when he least expected and gave him a covenant of His presence, protection, and fulfillment of his destiny.

Friend, God is visiting you in an unusual way this year. He can’t throw you away. He has loaded so much on you for glory than to overlook you. He said, He is with you. He will keep you wherever you go. And will bring you back to your land of glory. He will fulfil all that He has spoken concerning you. He is a faithful God. Trust in Him. Fulfil your vows, and He shall always stand by you. He will help you in all your ways. Those who refused to help you shall soon see you in glory.

PRAYER: LORD, LET YOUR PRESENCE EVER BE WITH ME.

“IT IS NOT OVER UNTIL YOU ARE FULFILLED”
