MADE TO GLORIFY GOD

MADE TO GLORIFY GOD Revelation 4:1-11  Devotional:- “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created” (V. 11) The first major purpose of your life is to bring glory to God (Isaiah 43:21). That is why it is built into your sub-conscious mind to worship. When you understand the place of worshipping God in all things, you will no longer feel insignificant. Bringing glory and pleasure to God is what we called worship. God is always happy with those who worship Him (Psalm 147:11). Please note that anything you do to bring glory, honour or pleasure to God is an act of worship. We are wired by God to worship. If you don’t worship God, you will worship yourself. We often see some things as worship and others as none. We think we go to worship service but worship is more than just been in the church. It is a life style. Worship is more than music or a particular style of music. To some people when ...

IN HIS NAME

IN HIS NAME

SCRIPTURE: PHILIPPIANS 2:5-11
DEVOTIONAL: “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth” (Vs.10)

Jesus said that whatever we ask in His name shall be given to us (John 14:13-14, John 16:23). Why do we need to use His name in our prayers? We need to use it because everything has a name and an answer to it. The Bible tells us that the name of Jesus is the name that commands answers in the realm of the Spirit.

In our Scripture for today, we see the process by which Jesus received power in His name. He humbled Himself, even to the point of death. He sacrificed His life for the redemption of man. So, God gave Him a name that is above all other names. When you mention the name “Jesus”, all other powers flee. In His name, God also gives us answers to our prayers.

Friend, you will be wise to queue behind the name of Jesus for your prayers to be powerful and effective. This name has become the name of the power of God. In it, we can release the authority of God in prayers, release the angels of God to work in our favor and put the devil on his knees. We can also command healing and success through this matchless name of Jesus (Mark 16:17-20). As you use this name, the devil will no longer stay around your life and family. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, let your name answer for me always.

“THE NAME OF JESUS IS THE TRIGGER OF THE POWER OF GOD”.
