YOUR MOUTH

YOUR MOUTH Luke 21:7-19 Devotional:-“for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist” (V. 15) NKJV      It is important for us to know that the word of God has put us in the office of god over the devil (Exodus 7:1). This is part of the blessing of the Spirit of God dwelling in us. So we exercise the authority of God. Part of this authority is judging the devil and his host. God’s word says every tongue that shall rise against us, we shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

ASKING AND RECEIVING

ASKING AND RECEIVING

SCRIPTURE: LUKE 11:5-13
DEVOTIONAL: “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened” (Vs. 10)

Prayer is about asking and receiving. To many people, prayer is asking and asking. This mind-set of prayer being only about asking should be erased because prayer entails asking and receiving. Sometimes, some believers say that they have been asking God for something in the past one year and are still believing Him for answers. This is totally a wrong mind-set. When I pray, I expect an answer, so it comes always and almost instantly. If I stay long in prayers, I just want to hang around God.

Friend, prayer is a dialogue and not a monologue. If your son or daughter comes to ask you for something, do you postpone your response or keep quiet about it? No, you don’t! Our religious mind-sets need a total change. Your desires might not be delivered immediately, but the answer of God is His word. God might tell you yes, no or hold on, but He will not ignore you.

The Scripture for today says that everyone who ask, receives. God always answers with an instruction or a guide on how we can receive answers (Psalms 32:8, Jeremiah 33:3). We must always play our parts by exercising faith at all times (Hebrews 11:40). Settle it in your heart today that, God always answer prayers (John 11:41-42). Open your heart to receive His voice and you will become fruitful in prayers in Jesus’ name. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, teach me to hear you always

“PRAYER IS A DIALOGUE AND NOT A MONOLOGUE”.
