  OVERFLOWING PROSPERITY Zechariah 1:13-21 Devotional:- “Again proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts: "My cities shall again spread out through prosperity; The LORD will again comfort Zion, And will again choose Jerusalem'"” (V.17) NKJV At the end of the year, God intends to prosper and supply you with great and pleasant riches (Psalms 65:11). When someone is not prospering in life, everything about him will look odd. When a person is not prosperous, there are so many things responsible. It might be that he is not working in God’s knowledge and understanding; it could also be that he is not working in God’s covenant. This is paying your tithe, offering, blessing the poor, and taking care of your parent, children and men of God. It could also be that he is not faithful to his staff. A CLEAN HEART

SCRIPTURE: Psalms 24:1-6
DEVOTIONAL VERSE: “He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false” (Vs. 4)

    God who is the King of this kingdom has covenanted in His word to always answer the prayers of the citizens (Matthew 7:7) Prayer is basically the only way for man to commune with God and receive from Him (Jeremiah 33:3). It could be quite frustrating when we pray and do not receive any answer. One of the factors responsible for unanswered prayers is the state of our hearts.

Our heart is the link between our spirit and our body. As God loves to take over our hearts, the devil also want to do the same. When the heart is given to pleasure and worldliness, it will surely be taken over by the devil (James 4:4). The word of God says, for anyone to access God and receive answers to his/her prayers, such will need to have a clean heart. 

A clean heart is a heart that is given to the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 3:16). It is a heart that meditates regularly on the word of God and not on the words of the world (Psalms 119:9). A clean heart obeys the instructions of God always (John 14:15). It is a heart that loves the Lord. This is why you need to purge your heart regularly from the uncleanliness of sin and ungodliness (James 4:8). That way, your prayers will not be hindered. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to always clean up my heart before you

Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
