  POWER OF LOVE I Samuel 18:1-5. Devotional:- "Now when he had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.” (V.1) NKJV Where true love exists, men can always have the best of times. Love is the most needed factor in this frustrating world. It is only as we build our environment of love that our lives will gain meaning. There is a strong need for us to learn what love can do. In the scripture we read today, David, a young man but strong by the strength of the Lord, was able to kill Goliath the Philistine (I Samuel ( 17:44-51). As soon as this happened, the bible says the heart of Jonathan and David was knit together. That is, they greatly love one another. Even though they were not from the same tribe, love is able to bring two people of different backgrounds and tribes together. And because of the love Jonathan had for David, he had to protect David from the trap of his father several times. A true ...

  PURPOSE OF LOVE Romans 5:6-11 Devotional:- “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us..” (V. 8). NKJV Sometimes we make such a mistake as loving only our lovers. We do not often think that by this we fulfill the Law of Moses and not the law of grace, loving only those who love us and probably hating those who hate us. But this is not true love. If you understand the purpose of love, you will know that love is not needed when everyone is perfect, but most needed because we are not. The scripture we read today demonstrates one of the greatest acts of God’s love to us. And this is a revelation of God’s love to you. Even though you commit sin and He hates sin, yet He loves you. It is for your sake that He sent Jesus, His only son, to die on the cross. See, people may hate you for one reason or another, but God loves you. He so much believed in you that He had to give up His son to die for your sake (1 John 4:9-10). ...

LOVE DEFINED I John 4:7-11 Devotional:- “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love” (V.8) NKJV Today, many people have been put into great trouble simply because they are looking for love. Since the nature of man cannot enjoy living without a lover, everyone searches for one wholeheartedly. If you find anyone who says he doesn’t need love from anyone, he is not sincere. He will soon find himself in desperate need of love. Since love is a universal need, men always seek for it, and most people never find it. There are quite a lot of things men term love, which are not, and has inturn misled and confused them. Until you can define your need, you may not have them met. SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7).   WORLD CLASS CHRISTIAN Mark 16:14-20 Devotional:- “And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (V. 15) There are two types of Christians in the world: The world class Christians and the worldly Christian. You are either in one of these groups. The worldly Christians look to God primarily for personal needs. They are saved but self-centered. Their prayer focuses on me first and focuses on their needs, blessings and happiness or comfort. They want to use God for their purpose instead of been used for Gods purposes. “Jesus sent us to reach the world, be part”.  In contrast, world class Christians are people who are saved and know that they are here to serve the purpose of God.   SHARING YOUR LIFE MESSAGE 1 John 5:6-13 Devotional:- “He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son” (V. 10) It is important we know that when we become believers we also become God’s messengers. God want to speak to the world through you (2 Corinthians 2:17). As messengers of Christ we must be willing to share the gospel wherever we find ourselves. Our life messages have four parts.
