  MADE TO GLORIFY GOD Revelation 4:1-11  Devotional:- “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created” (V. 11) The first major purpose of your life is to bring glory to God (Isaiah 43:21). That is why it is built into your sub-conscious mind to worship. When you understand the place of worshipping God in all things, you will no longer feel insignificant. Bringing glory and pleasure to God is what we called worship. God is always happy with those who worship Him (Psalm 147:11). Please note that anything you do to bring glory, honour or pleasure to God is an act of worship. We are wired by God to worship. If you don’t worship God, you will worship yourself.   RIGHT VIEW Matthew 25:14-30 Devotional:- “And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey” (V.15)  Please note that there is a way that you view life. The truth is that your view of life goes a long way to determine how you invest your time, money talents and value your relationships. People see life from different perspectives. Some sees life as up and down. Some see life as a game so they always play as it comes; some sees life as a place of party, so regular party becomes their priority.   REHEARSAL FOR ETERNITY Ecclesiastes 3:9-15 Devotional:- “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end” (V.11) It is important you realize that life here is a rehearsal for eternity. Just like you spend nine month in your mother’s womb, but that was a preparation for the real life, so also is life here compared to eternity. No matter how many years you spend here it is not up to one percent of eternity.  The scripture we read today says that God has planted eternity in our heart. That is why you don’t want to die. But as God’s kingdom citizen, death is not your termination but transition. So, choosing where to spend eternity is what we do here. This is by choosing to relate with Jesus the son of God or with sin and devil.   LIVING IN YOUR PURPOSE Ecclesiastics 4:1-6 Devotional:- "Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind” (V.4)   One of the most frustrating things in life is when people don’t know what exactly to live for. In that case they just live doing whatever they find others living for.  So many people live their lives driven by guilt. So they keep regretting their steps and past. Some live all their lives on resentment and anger. So many lives are in disarray because they are victims of transfer of aggression. So many lives are driven by fear of many things, so many live their lives driven by materialism, so they live a live that is never satisfied pursuing money. Other lives are driven by the need for approval. So it is what people say about them that determine their joy.   NOT AN ACCIDENT Isaiah 44:1-5 Devotional:- “Thus says the LORD who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you: 'Fear not, O Jacob My servant; And you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen” (V. 2) In discovering the purpose of your creation, it is important that you know that you did not evolve accidentally.   PRAISE THROUGH Psalm 149:1-9 Devotional:- “Let them praise His name with the dance let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp” (V.3) The end of every year is always known for jubilation and celebration. But men often lose focus of it’s purpose to ordinary celebration and even Sometimes to their own harm. But to you this time should be celebrated with understanding. It should be that you should look back and see how much God has done for you. Do not allow the enemy to make you see what is not working but what has wonderfully worked for you in the year. How God has preserve you and your children and relation from the first to the last month.
