  YOU ARE A MISSIONARY John 17:6-19 Devotional:- “As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. (V. 18 NLT) God is working all over the world and He has made you to be part of His work. It is the assignment of God for all Christians that is called Mission (2 Corinthians 5:20) Fulfilling your mission on earth is the fifth purpose of your life. Mission means been sent and every Christians is sent by the Lord (John 20:21). When we are saved, we become members of God’s family and the mission of Jesus becomes our mission.  Your mission is important and it is a continuation of the mission of Jesus. So to ignore it will be a sin (Matthew 28:19-20). It is important because it's a wonderful privilege (2 Corinthians 5:18). It is important because telling others about eternal life is the greatest thing you can do for them.  MADE TO GLORIFY GOD


Revelation 4:1-11 
Devotional:- “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created” (V. 11)

The first major purpose of your life is to bring glory to God (Isaiah 43:21). That is why it is built into your sub-conscious mind to worship. When you understand the place of worshipping God in all things, you will no longer feel insignificant. Bringing glory and pleasure to God is what we called worship. God is always happy with those who worship Him (Psalm 147:11). Please note that anything you do to bring glory, honour or pleasure to God is an act of worship. We are wired by God to worship. If you don’t worship God, you will worship yourself.

We often see some things as worship and others as none. We think we go to worship service but worship is more than just been in the church. It is a life style. Worship is more than music or a particular style of music. To some people when the music is slow down, it is worship and when it is fast, it is praises. But worship is far more than music. Worship has nothing to do with style or volume or speed of a song. God loves all kind of music because, He invented it all through us (Philippians 2:13). You may not like all the songs but God does. The moment it is sang in Spirit and truth (John 4:23-24).

You also need to know that worship is not for our benefit or enjoyment but it belongs to God. That is why we don’t worship for our pleasure but for His pleasure (Revelation 4:11). Worship is your life. It is not just church service or songs, it is all you do. That is why we are told to worship God continually (Psalm 113:3, 34:1). Every activities can be transformed to worship, when you do it for the praise, honour and glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31). This is when you do it with an intention to bring glory to God. This happen in your thinking as you do anything you are doing. This is when you do all things as though for God and for His Glory (Colossians 3:23). Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me a heart of continual worship
“WORSHIP MAKES YOU FULFILL YOUR FIRST PURPOSE ON EARTH”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
