  LOOKING UNTO HIM Psalms 34:1-7 Devotional:- “They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed” (V. 5) NKJV To enjoy the love of God for us, we must learn to keep looking unto Him. The scripture says, they looked unto him and were not ashamed. No one trusts in Him who will be ashamed at the end. It is amazing that Joseph, whom they sold as a slave, eventually became a ruler. Because that is God’s plan for Him (Genesis 45:1-9). Amazingly, Abraham, who had no children for almost a hundred years, at last became the father of eight children before he died (Genesis 25:1-2, 9). These are proofs of God’s faithfulness. Because He also has a plan for each of us, He does not want us to be discouraged or frustrated, but rather to keep looking unto Him. This is because He has a plan for us, and it shall surely come to pass. That is why He said, "I know the plans that I have for you; they are not of evil, but good, to give you a hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). H...

SUBMIT TO CHRIST

James 4:7-10
Devotional:- “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you” (V. 7) NKJV

    One of the criteria to sharing the gospel is that the gospeller must also submit to Jesus. God can use anyone but you will find more footing when you have also submit to Jesus before you can boldly convince others to come. The life of your Christian should be an example wherever he/she is. That is why Jesus called us the light of the world (Matthew 16:14).

So many Christians today are still confused of their Christian life. This is mostly because of their own challenges that they feel Christ have not resolved. It is important you know that you are the one to fully submit to the master. Then you will see him resolving all issues in your life one by one.

Friend, you need to know that we are not following Jesus just because of our need. If you want anything serious from anyone, the first thing is relationship. Submit totally to Jesus. Keep your relationship intact with Him. Always obey Him in all you do. Keep consistent fellowship with his house. Then your life would not only be a testimony but a miracle (Psalm 92:12-13).

Prayer: Lord, help me to totally submit to you

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
