  LOOKING UNTO HIM Psalms 34:1-7 Devotional:- “They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed” (V. 5) NKJV To enjoy the love of God for us, we must learn to keep looking unto Him. The scripture says, they looked unto him and were not ashamed. No one trusts in Him who will be ashamed at the end. It is amazing that Joseph, whom they sold as a slave, eventually became a ruler. Because that is God’s plan for Him (Genesis 45:1-9). Amazingly, Abraham, who had no children for almost a hundred years, at last became the father of eight children before he died (Genesis 25:1-2, 9). These are proofs of God’s faithfulness. Because He also has a plan for each of us, He does not want us to be discouraged or frustrated, but rather to keep looking unto Him. This is because He has a plan for us, and it shall surely come to pass. That is why He said, "I know the plans that I have for you; they are not of evil, but good, to give you a hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). H...

DEATH OF THE CROSS

John 1:29-36
Devotional:- “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”  (v. 29)

    Jesus came to the world as the Lamb of God that was slain to carry away the sins of the world. The death of Jesus on the cross was as a sacrificial lamb. A lamb is always slain to take away the sins of people (John 1:29; Hebrews 9:22). Because of the love of God to humanity, He allowed the son to die in the place of man. The world needs to know this.

It is a painful thing for anyone to give his/her son to be killed instead of anyone. Yet God took this painful step. He gave us Jesus the one he beloved and called His son. Only those who believe have their sins atoned in the presence of God (John 3:16-21). Because of this painful death whoever would not believe in the son will face eternal damnation.

Friend, this is the gospel of Jesus that whoever believes in his death and resurrection will be saved. By his death, he provided forgiveness to all. Let all around you know that if they believe they will be saved (Act 2:38; Act 4:12). If anyone believe the Lord Jesus, God will forgive their sin because of the death of His son and they will have eternity with God.

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to believe in your death and resurrection

“THE UNBELIEF OF ANYONE DOES NOT CHANGE THE JUDGEMENT OF GOD”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
