SERVING WITH JOY Deuteronomy 28:47-52 Devotional:- “Because you did not serve the LORD your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything” (V.47) NKJV A greater percentage of people do not know what stops their glory. They just suddenly discover that things just stop working out for them. In their ignorance, they accuse God and the devil for their predicament. You need to know from now that one of the things responsible is when people don’t serve with joy. People are always in haste to expect reward for their service. When it looks delayed, they begin to serve with grudges in their mind. God told the Israelites that if they did not serve God with a joyful heart, they would serve their enemy. This is actually too grievous, but men are also not always understanding. Something in us always looks so high that we don’t see what the Lord is doing, but we will always see what he has not done. CHARACTER TRANSFORMATION

Romans 12:1-8 
Devotional:- "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God". (V. 2)

    So many children of God still feel timid and not courageous to preach the gospel because they feel they are bad to people. They feel that people may not receive them because of their poor character before they believed. It is important we keep working on our character but that should not stop you from preaching to others. If God could use Paul, the apostle, then He can use anyone.

Instead of letting this become an excuse, we all need to keep working on our character and attitude. Though this is not in our power but our deliberate effort is very crucial. You need to know that character formation is from your background, which forms your beliefs, your beliefs forms your habit, and your habit forms your character.

So start to study the word of God to change your beliefs. Take the word of God as your new faith (Romans 10:17). Form the habit of following the word and your character will start to change (Psalm 19:7). Be committed to your fellowship with God and the church, then your transformation will be evident. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, transform me by your word

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.
