He was a boy who liked to serve. Beginning from the service in the field with the sheep of his father to the service of King Saul. He made himself available to serve, such that the day prophet Samuel came to their house to anoint him as the king, he was in the field caring for the sheep. But right in his family, some of his brothers were jealous of him.   By God’s favour, he was brought to the palace to serve the king. CHARACTER TRANSFORMATION

CHARACTER TRANSFORMATION

Romans 12:1-8
Devotional:- "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God". (V. 2)

So many children of God still feel timid and not courageous to preach the gospel because they feel they are bad to people. They feel that people may not receive them because of their poor character before they believed. It is important we keep working on our character but that should not stop you from preaching to others. If God could use Paul, the apostle, then He can use anyone.

Instead of letting this become an excuse, we all need to keep working on our character and attitude. Though this is not in our power but our deliberate effort is very crucial. You need to know that character formation is from your background, which forms your beliefs, your beliefs forms your habit, and your habit forms your character.

So start to study the word of God to change your beliefs. Take the word of God as your new faith (Romans 10:17). Form the habit of following the word and your character will start to change (Psalm 19:7). Be committed to your fellowship with God and the church, then your transformation will be evident. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, transform me by your word

“IT IS INFORMATION THAT BIRTHS TRANSFORMATION”.
