JOY IN PRAYERS

JOY IN PRAYERS I Samuel 2:1-10 Devotional:- “And Hannah prayed and said: "My heart rejoices in the LORD; My horn is exalted in the LORD. I smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation.” (V. 1) NKJV We often fall into depression when we look around us, and all we see are unanswered prayers. It becomes worse when you are despised and mocked for that thing that you are looking up to God for. Hannah was like that, a depressed and unhappy woman. What was Hannah’s secret that made her proclaim to all that “my heart rejoices in the Lord”? 1. She decided to look away from her oppressor 2. She went to God in prayer, pouring her sorrow to God.  3. She made a vow to give God the child 4. She left the presence of God, believing God answers prayer. Hannah made good her vow, and her joy was full. Are you depressed? Pour your heart to God, make a vow to him, and you will see him answer your prayers and your joy will Come. TRAP OF SIN

TRAP OF SIN

Proverbs 9:2:13-18
Devotional:- “But he does not know that the dead are there, That her guests are in the depths of hell” (v. 18) NKJV

People held in the trap of sin always become prisoners of their own habit. When people think they’re enjoying the pleasure of sin, the devil encourages them to continue till it becomes their habits. Habits are formed when people are doing something repeatedly till it becomes an action they can no longer control or stop. When anyone have a sinful and destructive habit they are set for destruction (Roman 6:23). The devil set every aspect of their lives in trouble of self-destructive motion. So they work their own way to the grave.

Such people need the gospel, they need Jesus to save them and someone needs to share or preach the gospel to them to be saved. If they will turn to the Lord, He will deliver them from the spirit of the habits and sets them free to make a choice of righteousness. The word of God is spirit and life (John 6:63). When the world is shared with people, it sets free (John 8:32). Such need to know that Jesus shed his blood to pay for their freedom from their habit of sin.

Jesus shed his blood as the price of redemption from every slave market of sin (Revelations 5:9-10). If you can approach such person prayerfully the Holy Spirit will touch their hearts, open their eyes of understanding and they will be saved. There are many of such around you. Reach out to them with the gospel and eternity will reward you for this.

Prayer: Set the people around me free from slavery of sin

“IT IS REDEMPTION THAT TERMINATES SLAVERY”.
