THE HEART OF WORSHIP

THE HEART OF WORSHIP Romans 6:1-14 Devotional:- “And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God” (V. 13) Since worship is our first purpose on earth we need to know that worship will not be worship if we don’t surrender to God. So, surrendering is the heart of worship. In our world today, surrender sound negative. It could mean to give up or losing or admit your defeat. But it is giving ourselves to God not out of fear or necessity but in love (1 John 4:9-19). Three things often attempt to block our mind from total surrendering to God, fear, pride and confusion. As kingdom citizen, please know it that you must learn to trust God. A woman will not be able to surrender to her husband if she does not trust him and so also you to God. To truly surrender to God, you must admit your weaknesses and limitations. That is when you truly want to ask ...

TRAP OF SIN

TRAP OF SIN

Proverbs 9:2:13-18
Devotional:- “But he does not know that the dead are there, That her guests are in the depths of hell” (v. 18) NKJV

People held in the trap of sin always become prisoners of their own habit. When people think they’re enjoying the pleasure of sin, the devil encourages them to continue till it becomes their habits. Habits are formed when people are doing something repeatedly till it becomes an action they can no longer control or stop. When anyone have a sinful and destructive habit they are set for destruction (Roman 6:23). The devil set every aspect of their lives in trouble of self-destructive motion. So they work their own way to the grave.

Such people need the gospel, they need Jesus to save them and someone needs to share or preach the gospel to them to be saved. If they will turn to the Lord, He will deliver them from the spirit of the habits and sets them free to make a choice of righteousness. The word of God is spirit and life (John 6:63). When the world is shared with people, it sets free (John 8:32). Such need to know that Jesus shed his blood to pay for their freedom from their habit of sin.

Jesus shed his blood as the price of redemption from every slave market of sin (Revelations 5:9-10). If you can approach such person prayerfully the Holy Spirit will touch their hearts, open their eyes of understanding and they will be saved. There are many of such around you. Reach out to them with the gospel and eternity will reward you for this.

Prayer: Set the people around me free from slavery of sin

“IT IS REDEMPTION THAT TERMINATES SLAVERY”.
