  SETBACK Genesis 39:10-21 Devotional:- “Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison” (v.20) NKJV Most people do not yet understand that what we call a setback, a lot of time is a set-up to set us to our top. Setback, as viewed by people, is demotion, but it is rather an opportunity to retreat and re-fire for greater victory. When the purpose of a thing is not known, men are bound to abuse it. Today, we read about Joseph, who was thanking God for being promoted from a slave to a house overseer. He always tried to put his best into his assignment, and by this, he always had joy. At this time, the enemy wanted to damage his testimony by the temptation of sin, but he stood his ground for God (2 Timothy 2:22). But then he faced something like a demotion to prison. DARKNESS TO LIGHT

Isaiah 9:1-5
Devotional:- "The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined". (V. 2)

    Darkness is the greatest problem of humanity. Darkness here represents blindness of the mind. This is the work and the activities of the devil (2 Corinthians 4:4). A mind that is blinded will not receive nor understand any good information you give to them. So they will be weak and not capable of rising.

People’s mind becomes blinded by the negative information given to them. The devil helps them take it in a wrong way till it stops their progress and stagnate their lives. The word of God is the truth that is capable of penetrating into the innermost part of the human life (Hebrews 4:12). The word of God is backed up by the spirit of the Lord (John 6:63). This makes it powerful to penetrate into any closed mind and liberate them from darkness into marvelous light.

Friend, you don't keep the gospel from your children in the name of social relevance. Share the word of God with your family, friends and neighbours. God’s word will destroy the power of darkness and give them light (Psalm 119:105; 1 Peter 2:9). They will become strong to rise by light.

Prayer: Lord, let the light of the gospel never stop in my life

“WHERE THERE IS LIGHT THERE WILL BE SUCCESS”.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
