  SETBACK Genesis 39:10-21 Devotional:- “Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison” (v.20) NKJV Most people do not yet understand that what we call a setback, a lot of time is a set-up to set us to our top. Setback, as viewed by people, is demotion, but it is rather an opportunity to retreat and re-fire for greater victory. When the purpose of a thing is not known, men are bound to abuse it. Today, we read about Joseph, who was thanking God for being promoted from a slave to a house overseer. He always tried to put his best into his assignment, and by this, he always had joy. At this time, the enemy wanted to damage his testimony by the temptation of sin, but he stood his ground for God (2 Timothy 2:22). But then he faced something like a demotion to prison. OPEN YOUR MOUTH

Psalms 81:8-16 
Devotional:- "I am the LORD your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it".  (V. 10)

    It is important we don't allow anything or anyone to intimidate us when it comes to going to share the gospel with people. We must not allow any form of excuses to stop us. Moses said I am not eloquent. The Lord said he will be with his mouth (Exodus 4:10-12). Jeremiah said I don’t know how to speak and I am too young, God corrected him (Jeremiah 1:6-8).

The truth is that God has chosen all believers before we were born to be his mouth and to bear the gospel (Jeremiah 1:4-5). So stop the excuses. The Lord has promised to give us a mouth that will be filled with wisdom and power (Luke 21:15). We saw this manifested in the ministry of Apostle Peter on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:14). We see these all through the Acts of the Apostles.

Trust the Holy Spirit, open your mouth to speak and He will give you the right words at the right time (Psalms 45:1). He will give you deep understanding of what to say. Remember He is the one to do the work. You are a mouth for him. Let him use you and he will bless you.

Prayer: Lord I trust you to fill my mouth as I speak for you

“WHEN YOU ALLOW GOD TO USE YOU, EVEN YOU WILL BE A SPECTATOR”.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
