PROTECT YOUR HEART

Image
PROTECT YOUR HEART  Proverbs 4:20-27 Devotional:- “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” (V. 23) NLT      Everyone is born with a strength capable of rising to greatness. In every growing child is a seed of greatness. It is this strength that makes the youth so creative and energetic. That is why each young person looks at the future with great hope. The enemy tries to destroy this strength. As strong as many started in life, not many could strike the chord of success because their strength was destroyed.

STAY CONNECTED

STAY CONNECTED              Psalms 27:1-6 Devotional Verse - “One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple” (V. 4)    Every time you find the privilege to be in fellowship with God, you will be able to get the best of His presence when you stay connected. To stay connected means you don't give in to distractions. When you are personally fellowshipping stay there connected. When you are in church with other believers stay connected. It could be prayer time or worship or message or even offering time. In any of this time, refuse to be offline.

THANKING HIM

Image
THANKING HIM      Ephesians  5:15-21 Devotional Verse - “Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (V. 20)     A major way to fellowship with God continually is to keep thanking Him. This is because He deserves it. Looking into the goodness of the Lord, you cannot really exhaust the reason for thanking Him. It is in the time of thanksgiving that you have quality fellowship with God. The Holy Spirit always helps us in giving thanks to the father.

CORPORATE FELLOWSHIP

CORPORATE FELLOWSHIP           Hebrews 10:19-25 Devotional Verse - “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching” (V. 25)     We experience corporate fellowship whenever we join with other believers to fellowship together. This has tremendous power in bringing about the manifestation of God (Matthew 18:18-20). Fellowshipping alone with God is great for your growth in Christ Jesus but fellowshipping together will make greater power available for the deliverance of a believer.

PRAYING IN TONGUES

Image
PRAYING IN TONGUES            Jude 20-25 Devotional Verse - “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit”(V.20)    A time of fellowship with God demands that we communicate with our spirit. This is beyond the realm of the mind. This is through meditation in our mind as we pray. This is by focusing and opening our eyes of the spirit to behold the throne of God. Whenever this happens, we become connected with God and we speak in tongue of the spirit.      The word of God says you are building yourself up in the faith whenever we pray in the spirit. In other words, praying in the Holy Spirit makes us build up in our relationship and fellowship with God. Praying in the spirit opens up a direct line between us and God. It makes us groan in our spirit when we pray. This is when the Holy Spirit takes over to help us pray better to God. This makes tremendous power available to...

LISTEN TO HIM

LISTEN TO HIM             Psalms 85:8-13 Devotional Verse - “I will hear what God the Lord will speak, For He will speak peace To His people and to His saints; But let them not turn back to folly” (V. 8)    So many people always talk to God in the time of prayers but, many have not learnt how to hear Him. Communication is not complete till there is response. Prayer is monologue to many but it ought to be a dialogue. A prayer life without response from the Lord will be totally frustrating. This has actually been the experience of many.

ASK SCRIPTURALLY

Image
ASK SCRIPTURALLY       1 John 5:14-17 Devotional Verse -“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (V. 14)     Everyone who loves to always have the experience of answer to prayers must understand the principle that guides it. We know that the principles of men are different from the principles of God. (Isaiah 55:8-9). That is when our prayers will not be religious or an experience of trial by error.

REVEAL YOUR WEAKNESS

REVEAL YOUR WEAKNESS                  1 John 1:5-10 Devotional Verse - “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (V. 9)       People can only have the best of fellowship when they don’t hide behind one finger. True fellowship demands openness in sincerity. This is important so that God’s mercy can allow us to access His presence. Man by every standard can never be qualified to stand in the presence of God. All that the Lord desire of us is that we humble ourselves and open up to Him.      The word of God says “if we say we have no sin, the truth is not in us”. But if we open up our weaknesses to God, He is faithful and just to forgive us. Opening our wounds to God gives Him the access to heal us. But pretending before your God is pride. So, to enjoy true and impactful fellowship demands that we don’t cover up...
