Do you know that it is not the practice of wisdom to be impatient when it comes to issues of life? I am not talking about skill or performance, which has to do with speed and accuracy. But when it comes to making a decision, making a choice, taking major steps in confusion and many others. All of these call for patience. If you are to act in wisdom, understand your ways and always take steps to success, you need patience.

May I let you know that wickedness is always carried out in haste to escape being caught? So all of the devil's activities are carried out in haste. By the time you are patient, many evils would have gone before you appear. The jet age is to make us skilful and not to destroy our destiny. Patience will build character in you. Character will build conviction. Then your steps will be in wisdom. Stop rushing to speak or reply, but be patient. This is wisdom.

It is in the course of patience that you effectively prepare. Always learn to gather yourself while others are rushing to reply, and proper preparation prevents poor performance. Take time to patiently study your way before launching in. While others fail, you will not fail.

Prayer: Lord, grant me the wisdom and patience to gradually make progress in my courses.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.
