It is commonly said that he that goes about trying to please everybody will end up not pleasing any. While you are trying to please people, you end up offending them. So you think you are doing them good, but they think you are doing them evil. This is because different people have different ways of looking at things.

You have therefore resorted to doing your best and leaving the rest. But do you know that in the course of doing your best you create an enemy for yourself? And they now begin to stand against you. The best way to thc approach the affairs of life is to learn to please God.

Pleasing the lord will never make you do evil. And as you begin to work on the path to please God, He will in turn begin to make your enemy be at peace with you. This will give you a lasting tenure in office and make your period peaceful. Stop pleasing men, and start pleasing God. Then the co-operation you’ve been missing, you will start to enjoy whenever you serve.

Prayer: Lord, help me to choose to please you in all i do

“HE THAT GO AHEAD PLEASING MEN WILL END UP NEITHER PLEASING GOD NOR MAN”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.
