He that ask of the way he does not know may not miss the way. But do you know that in many decisions we make, we are many times ignorant of this, later, in disappointments, frustrations and regrets. These are some issues that are vital to life and destiny. We are tempted to make decisions alone, knowing fully well that multitudes have failed as a result of the issues like: the career to pursue in life, choice in marriage and taking steps in life.

Since you have never passed through this path before, don’t assume you have the experience; you need to seek counsel. You will be wise to look for people of God who are successful in this area to counsel you. Don’t stop in one place; also cross-check through other means.

Read books and listen to counsellors. Don’t run the race of life alone. Since you’ve never run it before, you will need those who have gone ahead of you to be used by God to guide you. Whenever you are doing what you have never done before, you are bound to see what you have never seen before. But there is nothing new under heaven, someone has achieved whatever you are attempting before you. Seeking counsel may be through studying books, or having the opportunity to sit with people greater than you. Pray that you will not regret your steps. Value your life from now. Put pride aside and seek godly counsels.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always seek counsel from the wise

“HE THAT DECIDES ALONE SUFFERS ALONE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.
