So many things in life want to bring man to a level of sorrow. The period in which one is sorrowful is almost longer than the period of joy on the average. Some people for a long time had never known joy. It is altogether sorrows and complaints.

Many come to the church and receive good words that stir joy and hope in them on Sunday, but Monday morning you won’t find it in them. Simply because there are more people around that make one sorrowful than joyful.

But you’ve got to decide the way to live your life, notwithstanding people or no people; Situation or no situation. If you have decided to live a joyful life, then you need a merry heart. You can receive a merry heart by constantly having personal fellowship with God in his word, worship and prayer. Secondly, have this fellowship also with the church of Jesus. And thirdly, sharing the gospel with people in your own way. When you create a constant time in God’s presence, you cannot lack joy. For in the presence of God there is fullness of joy. When joy is housed in your heart, it will change your look and life. It will keep you laughing and healthy every day.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always choose joy in every situation

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.
