THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. WORD OF GOD

WORD OF GOD

Psalms 119:89-96
Devotional:- “I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have given me life” (V. 93)

It is important we identify the seed of courage for our encouragement. The truth you must know is that, this world is full of seed of discouragement. Yet, it is only those who allows it that will destroy their courage in life. As a child of God, you must know what makes you stronger than the forces of this world. The main seed of courage for our encouragement is the word of God (Luke 8:11, Psalm 119:97-100).

God told Joshua that the strength of courage comes from the word of God (Joshua 1:8). You will need to know that we gain courage in life by sure information we meditate on. Because God cannot lie. His word is the truth (John17:17). That is why we value His word.

Friend, anyone you value can penetrate in to your heart. But we must go beyond just valuing God and His word but always meditate on the word of God (Joshua 1:8). This is because whatever you don't meditate on, you will not courageously act on it. We will become very bold in faith when the Spirit of the word access our mind (Romans 10:17, Hebrews 4:12). Sometimes, you may need to go beyond reading to listening and watching a preacher. And your courage will always come back. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me by your word

“THE SPIRIT YOU ARE LISTENING TO WILL COMPOSE THE STRENGTH IN YOU”
